Re: RB750UP - Issue

Bravo for 5.20, it seems to work pretty good. Ubiquiti equipment has peaks of about 700mA according to current monitor.

Re: v5.20 released

What's new in 5.20 (2012-Aug-15 13:04):
*) manual upgrade to NEW beta poe controller firmware v2.0 for RB750UP and OmniTIK UPA;
more info at http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:PoE-Out
Bravo! seems to work pretty good here.

PPPoE Radius CallerID format change request

Hello, Is it possible to strip the ":" in the callerid field for radius request when using pppoe? Reason is simple, in the utmp file there are just 15 chars reserved for callerid, and the last 2 chars of the mac address doesn´t enter in the field. Example: [root@radius]# /usr/local/bin/rad...

Re: rb750up voltage monitoring

Same issue here, 5.12 monitoring is OK but 5.14 reports about 1 to 1.5V less.

Re: v5rc7 released

Please, wait until MT confirms bugs before jumping to conclusions about bugs, and this is not a bug - this is typical situation when 2 devices can't get auto-negotiation right - it happens now and then with all kind of devices, you need to check your cable, put a switch in between these 2 devices o...

Re: v5rc7 released

Normis,

I was talking about this problem:
http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=47415
Switch is not related, no one of my 750 is running in any switchport configuration and flapping is still present.

Marcelo

Re: 5.0RC5 Ethernet ports flapping on two different RB-750s

I know i wasn´t asked, but better more info than none. Problem persists with rc7, firmware 2.29. Steps to reproduce: update to rc5 or later (haven´t tested earlier rc), wait a few minutes and check log. Device connected to the other end: it had happened with ubnt bullets, ubnt nanobridges, other rb7...

Re: v5rc7 released

Note 1: This is a fix-only release, all that was reported in the v5rc6 topic has been addressed. User Manager has not been changed. It seems that no one had noticed the ethernet problem because it was on another topic, so i´m posting the message in this topic to see if it can be solved in 5.0rc8 if...

Ethernet link problems with 5.0rc5-6

Hello, I´m seeing ethernet link problems with latest beta version. Not only loosing link on some interfaces (even in some interfaces that links 2 RB750 with 5.0rcX version, i see this problem in one side and not in the other side) but also detect link on some interfaces with nothing connected to the...

Same here, RB750 plugged onto another RB750 fixed 100mbps or 10mbps and it flaps. 5.0b5 version.

Strange IP Neighbours problem

Hello, I have a Rb750 connected to 4 ethernets completely unrelated one with the other (in fact, they are 4 ubiquiti bullet devices for ptp networks). It was working fine until a few days ago, when i stopped receiving traffic from the bullets and in ip neighbours, i can see rb750-ether1 advertising ...

Re: Ethernet problems caused probably by RFI/EMI

Can´t use fiber because i´m using PoE for the devices connected to the routerboard. There is already a metal box. In fact, the ethernet cables are going inside a metal pipe grounded.

Ethernet problems caused probably by RFI/EMI

Hello, I have a wisp node in a tower used by a 10kW FM transmisor. The node is composed by a metal box, a routerboard 493 (have tried RB150&RB750) and some ubiquiti hardware (1 NS5, 2 B5, 1 R5M) and it is located about half meter away from the upper dipole of the FM radio (i´m unable to put it h...
