Re: DHCP Relay in VRF

I have discovered the same thing recently. My conclusion is that since the vrf's in v7 are totally separated and the response from the DHCP-server (DHCPOFFER) will have a dst-address of an IP-address belonging to the main-table, the old workaround does not behave as in v6. The dst-address in DHCPOFF...

How initial is 'initial MPLS support'?

Re: v6.26 will be released on 6th week of 2015, check latest

norpan, there will be new improved routing in v7.x, that will address and open new horizons for routing.
So a quite basic and thing in a router are not going to work in this major release at all?

And can you please tell me which product you would recommend me to use at this point?

sergejs, Kind of, I have contacted support regarding another issue:
[Ticket#2014121066000265] MPLS L3 VPN not adding labels
That issue is supposed to be fixed in v6 but I got the response to wait for v7 before I can expect Ticket#2013100966000755 to be resolved.

Re: DHCP-relay in MPLS VRF

I was able to do a workaround with one mangle and one nat rule to make this work. Make you sure you have a route for the DHCP server in the main table, default route is enough (or else the router will drop the packet) and create a mangle rule kind of like this: ip firewall mangle add chain=output ds...

Re: RB2011 UAS Gigabit to 100Mbit fragmentation bug

My guess is that is Rx/Tx buffer which gets full when you go from 1000Mbit -> 100Mbit which causes dropped packets, but no counters are increasing under '/interface' nor '/interface ethernet' so it's hard to tell. There are no issues when you do 100Mbit -> 100Mbit or 1000Mbit -> 1000Mbit, but there ...

Re: Problems with MPLS IPv4 VPN

Norpan I think your issue is different from my primary issue. The issue I have is stale routes within a VRF, e.g. a withdraw is received by the PE router but the route is never actually withdrawn from the FIB. This bug has been in RouterOS since at least 5.0rc's. In my lab I have 6.1 as a route ori...

VRRP and src-nat

Hi,

Does anybody know if it's possible to do a src-nat to a VRRP-ip?
e.g: "action=src-nat to-addresses=1.2.3.4" when 1.2.3.4 is on a VRRP-interface.

dst-nat works fine, but I don't get src-nat to work.
