Re: RouterOS v6.x with Ubiquiti AirFiber 24 v2.0 - RX Error

The same here and this is certainly an ccr issue because we have one 1100ahx2 on the other end and no fcr errors.

Re: v5.14 released

Is there a reason why the "broadcast" address was removed in 5.0? I loved seeing that when I added no IP addresses. You have network, IP, and broadcast that way you see real fast the end of the block you are adding. Why would Mikrotik remove such a thing? No, only the functionality has ch...

The v5.4 is great, but the bridge filters still broken and we're stuck with v4.17 in many rb's. Ticket#2011041266000166. PS: Bug reproduced by mikrotik team Does this mean a rb with "bridge filters" in use is not working? But the option in bridge ´to use IP firewall filter´ is ok? I had n...

you know that unreported issues can't be fixed. not all issues are easy to find by ourselves, that's why we also rely on our customers to report problems that they find. The no working bridge filter was already reported from me to support. The open ticket is 2011041266000166. Already sent supout fr...

Re: v5rc10 released

petro25 and pbr3000 , thank you very much for the reports. However I see the same behavior for VLAN interface on bridge at 4.16 and 5.0rc10. 1) VLAN interface is added to running bridge without any active interface; - VLAN interface does not get MAC-address, until there is no MAC-address on bridge....

petro25, just curios do you have any other interface on the bridge or mac-address assigned to bridge? When empty VLAN is added to bridge, there is no MAC-address assigned, as soon as admin-mac is set, the same MAC-address is set to VLAN. I'm not petro25 :D , but in my setup there's 2 ethernet inter...

Bug in long distance links in nv2 (10mhz, 42km): disconnects. Bug in vlan: put 2 interfaces in bridge (ether or wlan), create vlan "on the bridge", all works fine. Reboot the router and vlan traffic will stop. There's no problem in rc7. This just happen with vlan's on bridges, and i need t...

Dear MikroTik guys, Thank you for the great release. Please make it so that when we re-login to WinBox, we have the same sizes of elements as when we adjusted them the previous session. Even after router restart/upgrade and even after someone else logs in and messes them up. Include a "save vi...

Re: RouterOS v5rc8

Vlan is broken too. Or there is any special setting to vlan in rc8? After upgrade to rc8 all vlan stopped working. Downgrade to rc7 and all works again.

Vlan is working on RB450G and RB1000
My test is on RB1100 only.

The native bridge filter don't works, just the firewall ones if ticked "Use Ip Firewall". Just tested in x86 here.

Re: RouterOS v4.5 released

It explains our problems. On link which we observed the disconnect problem first we used wireless-test in 3.X. We tried to replace hardware, realign antennas, we changed TX channels, changed nstreme settings, upgraded to 3.30. Nothing helped. Then we increased hw-retries and the problem disappeared...

Re: RouterOS v4.5 released

Hardware Retries was already lowered to 4 in ROS as early as version 3.18 and that didn't cause any problems. I remember this was done to fix a problem with Ubiquiti XR2 and XR5 cards disconnecting. Before that, the default was 16.
The maximum was 15, not 16.
