there is NO reset button in the front just fyi there is 2 reset buttons inside of case.

Hello Guys,
I have brand new powerbox pro and when I try to set with this command /interface ethernet poe settings set ether1-poe-in-long-cable=yes I get "bad command name settings (line 1 column 25) is there something they changed that you cant set this anymore in terminal?

well see frontier offers 7meg but its really 6 to 6.5 meg download and I need to bond 8 dsl lines together to get upto 50meg for my bandwidth for my wisp.

I didnt know if RB1200 can do this with outgoing out and buying 7k peplink router.

fyi frontier dont do MLPPP setups.

I am just wondering if anybody can help me setup qos on my rb 750 with one business cable connection that is 15x2 (with real world static ip's and internal static ip's) and I am looking to do qos for bandwidth,email,voip and I dont know how to setup qos for rb.

right now I don't have my routerboard hooked up. Just let you know that I will have 2 different connections at my apt 1 fiber connection that is my home connection and other one is a cable connection for my business they are in different IP addresses and I would like to login from my home connection...

I have a backbone ISP using business class connection with cable gateway modem which I get 5 DHCP IP addresses and 10 static IP addresses. So how would I give them 5 dhcp ip addresses and 10 static IP addresses into rb750 and pass off DHCP ip address to my customers on the rb750?

outside to 8 port switch then smoothwall then I can connect other computer to get a other IP address.

the rb750 is post to serve as letting me add more static real world IP addresses because smoothwall dont allow you add more then 1 static IP address.

so your saying the setup like this:

/ip firewall nat add chain=srcnat src-address="<ip>" action=log log-prefix="srcnat"
/ip firewall nat add chain=dstnat src-address="<ip>" action=log log-prefix="dstnat"

so the dstnat would be the real world ip then correct?

Thank You SurferTim and I got a other question so you would do that script every static IP address that you want to add correct. Also if customer wants a static public IP but customer have a internal static IP how would I setup that also?

Hi Guys
I am just wondering if the RB750 can handle static and dhcp in multiple ip address from ISP? I am just wondering how I would route that or how to setup this in RB750 box?

can I install RouterOS on any machine or routerboard?

Hi Guys
I am a newbie here and I wanted to know if I can install RouterOS on any computer or does it have to be on routerboard?

if I can install the ISO for routerOS what hardware specs should I know before installing?
