i was recently playing with bonding for fiber backup with wireless. later went to backuping 5ghz link with another one :) after some test will bond them to get double rate... but what i found: easiest -> hex S boxes each - 3 cables = 1uplink, 1 linkA(tagged), 1linkB(tagged) with bonding config in it...

Remove all ips from bridged tiks. Then ip firewall connection tracking set enabled no.
In bridge add only ports wlan0; eth0; rtsp set to off

what do you expect more if you bond 5ghz+60ghz? anyway there is 1gbps ethernet port, i dont get your idea (:
my point, just to get ANY connection during bad weather, okay let it be at least 100mbps for snow fall or heavy rain, so the customers would not fuck up to red our phones :)

it will drop interfaces 99.9% :D
i mean after upgrade you will need to set them accordingly, vlans to ether x etc. this will happend, i dont recognize exactly after 5.26 i think to 6.x

indoor router on 60ghz? trollolol... i suggest to go to technical unviersity and get a basic physics. 2nd, attenuation of 60gsmthz - 3ch more than enought 3rd, for such freq, LOS and high directional accuracy is one of the requirements... (ptp <500m) 4rd, mostly ppl uses it instead of building fiber...

sofar I am happy with 60ghz dishes, hopefully there would not be any bugs with them to run on production : )
still under big question, will they beat 2.7-3km range or not, so far as I calculated should be on the limits, with fail-over to existing 5ghz could be a good improvement.

there might be interference from airport. There are some radars operating near 5ghz band we are experiencing same problems sometimes =) but link does not goes direct over airfield, lets say its 3km aside and parrallel to the airport, but during night we have 650mbps both, day time-operational drops ...

swapped to 922uag all fine... seems that r11e ac card has some trick and does not work on stock minipcie :/ need to migrate to compex solutions, waste of money and time with no info from mikrotik about it

yep settings are the same, fun is that rb433ah+52hn perform way better that newer solution j1900 atom +r11e cards in minipcie slots.. thinking if its the power issue? or not
i have also rb14e in stock, but to waste or no the time it is the question

remove hide-ssid. i have no idea why, but tried some time ago and with hide-ssid - enabled there was problems to get connection, but worked well on 802.11 plain as i remember with it

go to 5.26.

i have one x86 where intel dual pci network adapter, and seems to be the same like yours. issue was loss and low BW after upgrade to ros 6.x. downgraded and everything runs like it should....

actually i am playing right now on the table... so yes, idea to pack 1gbps adapter with all stuff and combine two x86 machines into it. right now: ethernet fiber-ether1: vlan2 -> to ISP vlan3 -> LAN(server area) vlan5 -> pppoe_gateway in nat i have rule for both masquarade 192.168.1.0/24(serv) and 1...

192.168.1.0/24 is zone for local servers, just for information. vlan5 gets internet connection.

VLAN1 pppoe server, so only via VLAN2 shall be possible to get internet

vlan2 192.168.1.1/24
vlan1 pppoe 192.168.88.0/24

cannot get the principle in tik, i need to set default route of 192.168.88.0/24 to 1.1

if I simply set untagged port to 1.1 i get connection without any problems...

usually very hard to catch the problem, if there are also devices on 5ghz try to separate their frequencies as much as possible

on nv2 speedresult is very low. if it is P2P use nstreme.
3x3 we did not get, performance was same as 2x2. distance 1km
throughput in nstreme ca 137mbps/100mbps of real traffic.

on x86 i suggest to use 5.26 -> we had lan gigabit port flapping and freezing with newer firmware

how to we make - take extra rubber from ftp cable, co after crimping you'll have 1cm of open wires without rubber.. plug into rb - and all closes good. It's not the best way, but a workout.. better if hole will be directly under poe/ethernet plug

I think you are going to have interference problems. It is not a good idea to run multiple cards on the same band on the same board. I believe I would go with an 802.11n card. The dish is dual polarity. This should help a lot on this link.

i had the same trouble some days ago.. but i have x86 router based. first and last thing I thought was LAN adapter.

i gave up with it :) just installing fiber in mart/aprill
reducing power will give something like 160/120mbps in link connection, stability @same level..

mpls is a way to try, but i think on that link is not possible, it's backbone to ISP...

it's your choice, BUT, we have made 270mbps or real 100mbps with 802.11n CHO+CH1 (2x2)

the same at the moment, i believe it's max of RB333 - have 30/30mbps real traffic

use intel or 3com cards. i prefer intel ones. they will have the same speed @their fixed connection, not more not less. For example - users becomes 2mbps/1mbps for internet, so speed will be not more than these numbers, even if somewhere is 1gbps link available :)
