how to redirect to external cache from gateway?

hello; i have a mikrotik gateway it's ip is: x.y.z.193/28, i have traffic limitation for all my servers in the simple queue in the gateway, i have a external cache engine, how to redirect all traffic passing by the gateway on port 80 to this cache engine ???? i have tried "same" in firewal...

hello; i have a connection of 12M , i had to traffic shape it so i bought RB1100 and made the traffic shaping using bridge, it is working and traffic shaping correctly but i noticed that i have a drop that occurs every 30 second approx, the connection drop from 12M to 2M for 2 or 3 seconds then i go...

hello;
i am using usermanager v5.0

i have a customer that needs access to create his own users, if i give him read-write access he will have access to profiles and routers, how to give him write access only to users and view only routers and profiles??

probably your 2.9.27 version is a cracked version; you should not use cracked version and ask for help !!!

i kind of solved it;

in 4.11 ver i can put as much as i can DNS servers, so i just put all 4 DNS servers and it is working :))

Hello; i have 2 Wan Connections, Wan1 is 2M download 2M upload Wan2 is 4.5M download 1M upload DNS of Wan1 is Totally different than DNS of Wan2, i have read the documentation on http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Load_Balancing_over_Multiple_Gateways but still need to resolve the DNS issue. Thank you

ok , i tried to graph mikrotik with same oid as cisco but no graph and no values, i have same community in mikrotik snmp settings and in graphing software, i tried to use dude to graph interfaces but cannot open a side graph like in what's up gold.

actually i am using what's up gold for real time graphing (to graph cisco routers) installed on a windows PC with vnc.. i can graph mikrotik using cacti on a linux pc but on what's up gold seems like the Oid is wrong or something, i thought it is because of mikrotik oid or something..

SurferTim, thanks for your reply; i cannot just turn off the client who is forwarding dhcp, however if "forwarding=no Client cannot send frames to other station that are connected to same access point" but what if i had 5 or 6 or even more AP's connected to each other by wireless link or b...

hi

at first you should know the mac addresses for your unwanted clients, and then go to ip-->arp and select all arps of your registered clients and click on make static, then interface --->arp=reply-only
this way your server won't respond to unregistered mac's in arp table.

maybe you can make all mac addresses in arp static and then the interface that your users are connected to put it arp=reply-only
