Re: 24 ports Mikrotik SFP switch

I think the best at this stage is to stack the CCR1016-12S-1Splus: http://routerboard.com/CCR1016-12S-1Splus

Re: Help me WiFi connection

Connect the second router board via Ethernet and put all the ports on the second router board into a bridge, along with the wlan1 interface.

Match the wireless settings between the two RB's, apart from selecting different channels. 1,6 or 11

Re: DNS Requests coming from my public interface?

Yes, You should open up whatever ports you need to, and then drop all traffic at the end of the firewall filter.

Re: 2.4ghz WDS WPA Issues

Hi all, I've had some issues with DHCP not being passed through on any of the access points. Rebooting all the devices fixed this, but only for 5min. Was having quite a bit of trouble with high traffic going between the units. statically setting the WDS on the AP01 unit for the 2x other units (AP02 ...

Re: 2.4ghz WDS WPA Issues

Hi there, I was still struggling to find answers to the problem i was facing in the forums and wiki, and after a few reset-configurations i've finally got it. I'm using 3x RB751's throughout a house to distribute wireless with WPA encryption, with AP02 and AP03 talking back to AP01 AP1 /interface br...

Re: R52Hn for a 2.4ghz AP

No it should work fine as an AP. -10 is way too strong. You may want to turn it down if that is in your operating range. Sorry i'm meaning that when doing a scan, and looking at another mikrotik hotspot at the same site, with a WLM54AGP23 card i can see it at -62 and only moves around 2-3db, but wi...

R52Hn for a 2.4ghz AP

Hi there, I installed at a site yesterday a R52Hn configured on b/g/n 2.4ghz 2412 to be a access point bridged to the internet with security. When doing a scan on the unit, i was getting very erratic signal strengths coming from other units, spiking up to -10db. I made sure i was using the correct a...

2.4ghz WDS WPA Issues

Hi, I'm having an issue getting security to work over 2.4ghz with WDS. I have 3x RB751U Access Points with 1 of them acting at the AP-Bridge and the other two are WDS Slave. It seems to work with WPA security on the two WDS Slaves but when i put security on the AP-Bridge, it all falls over. Also, i ...

Re: ROS 5.7 and one way audio

Hi There,

I've got a customer experiencing a one-way audio after 15min. This is a new setup but we're running RouterOS 5.7. Just wondering how the downgrade went?
