I currently have 1 6db omni and 31 clients which are also mikrotik with xr9 radios. I was going to replace the omni with 3 sectors but I like to keep things very simple so that's why I was wondering if the cards would interfere with each other in the same box more than in separate ones. thanks

do you change this setting in winbox under interfaces and then under pppoe interface or do you put a rule under mangle. since my dsl modem has a setting of 1540 and 20 percent is is what they recommend knocking off then 1232 would be correct. to be honest I have never had to change mtu or use a mang...

You should use 3 120 degree sectors and according to figures you could put 3 R52H's with the RB502 board added on the RB532A R5 unit and work just fine. Re: SR2 re-associate problem

I think that the issues are software related. When the clients can't reassociate you can look at the logs and see that the clients are being sent deathentication packets.

Re: Replacing Teletronics CPE Router With RB532A

update 1 I currently have UBNT taking a look at 1 of my routerboards with an xr2 card. I am starting to think that it is a software problem. The first time I had this problem I tried 2 different sr2 cards and a cm9 and then a senoa 2511 and the 2511 worked just fine. This tells me that it is having ...

Re: SR2 re-associate problem

I talked with someone at ubiquiti today and he thinks the problem has something to do with noise. I don't have an sr2 or xr2 up with more than 10 clients on it to see if it helps but I think it would be worth a shot. I do have 1 up and running and for the heck of it I set the noise floor at -85 and ...

Re: SR2 re-associate problem

Just to let everyone know I have seen the same problems and my clients were tranzeo and teletronics. I've had several people tell me not to mix client equipment or you will see problems ( prism or atheros) . Although you can use a tranzeo AP and not see these same issues, just high ping times and ma...

I've had a problem that seems very close to the one that you are having. I was also using an sr2 for clients. I never tried changing my mac address so i have no answer on that. When i installed my ap it was late at night and after i had powered it up no one was connected not even my laptop 100 feet ...

sorry that I never updated my findings on this post but I will now. I did replace the sr2 with a senao 2511 and all my problems went away but I recently found a new problem. I tried installing a new client with the latest tr-cpq from tranzeo and it will not connect to the 2511. It did flash all the ...

limiting udp connections ????????????

I have sooooo many udp connections and don't have any way to limit them. Is there any option for this or is there good reason to not limit your udp connections. Please and thank you for any advice in advance.

how to limit sessions per client

I am sure that this can be done but I'm not sure how to do it. I was needing to limit sessions because of certain viruses that will create thousands of sessions and eat up all the air time on the radio. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have the latest firmware on the cpe's but the problem seems like the access point didn't intialize the wireless card. Even my laptop with built in wireless doesn't get a signal 100 feet away when this happens.

SR2's and Tranzeo CPE's for clients ?????

I have asked this question on here before but haven't heard a good reason that this shouldn't work. The SR2 is in AP Bridge mode and everytime you reboot, loose power or apply a new setting the clients rarely reassociate without diabling and renabling the wireless interface several times. When I say...

Problem with rebooting

Each time I have rebooted the RB532 with one SR2 and one CM9 none of the clients reconnect. The clients are conecting to the SR2 and the backhaul is on the CM9. I then make changes and reboot it again but still no clients. Although I have found if I keep rebooting it will eventually let clients conn...

I had just recently purchased an rb532 with 1 cm9 and 1 sr2. I was also having a problem with customers connection. I tried all kinds of settings then decided to swap the sr2 with another 1. When said and done I still had the same problem. At this point I started changing all setting and think that ...
