Try use fast-track feature https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/Fasttrack
It can give much more performance. (But simple queues and queue tree with parent=global stop working properly. And some other features)

SOCKS4 don't support UDP and IPv6.
Many end application silently expect SOCKS is v5 and just don't work with SOCKS4...

Many requests for SOCKS5 from Russia. related to Telegram messenger blocking rush which make many non-related to Telegram services unavailable.

Try set WMM=enabled
It must be in n and ac by standard and very liked by Apple. May be because of some power saving functions.

As I know this modem with ROS v6 work only in PPP mode. High speed mode supported now by ROS (DirectIP) not supported by this modem. Assume for simplicity, CAPsMAN used only as controller and L2 forwarder, but not as router.
Then bridges from datapath must be L2 connected.

Small additiona experience.
I meet situation when MC7710 don't start tracking session automaticaly, even if configured.
Then I configure init command in "/system gps init" (Sorry, no precise syntax, no access to installed gps module now)
to start tracking manually.

When I import certificate, its imported successful. With flag D.

I test on RouterOS 4.6 4.9 4.10. RouterOS 4.10 report about 0 keys imported and 0 errors.
