Re: What is the maximum speed I can expect

Thanks I will look into replacing the client hardware as well. When checking my speeds, basically, from the main tower/internet circuit I run a speed test to somewhere like http://www.speedtest.net. Then go to the client location and do the same. From the tower I will get 50 to 60 Meg up and down, f...

What is the maximum speed I can expect

Hey all, What is the maximum speed I can expect with a connection between my tower and my end. The tower is running a RB600 with SR card in a 120 Degree Sector, the client is a RB133 with an SR5 card connected to a 23db Grid and I am getting about a 65db on both sides. The most I have ever gotten on...

Need a script to run when ping fails

Hey, I have about 100 MT routers on my network and out of them 2 are giving me issues I cannot seem to figure out. One of the interfaces quits routing traffic for no apparent reason. The interface is in a bridge and the entire bridge is not effected, just one of the interfaces. Sometimes a reboot fi...

Sprint 595 Pcmcia Card in RB230

Hi all, I am installing a Sprint evdo 595 Pcmcia card in a routerboard 230. It works fine in my laptop but I am not sure how to make this work in the Mikrotik. We are running 3.22 on the 230 and I have a ppp profile that dials #777 with no username or password. When it connects, it gets a 10.x.x.x a...

Hi all, I have an MT Client in station pseudobridge mode. Anyone connected to that client on the ethernet side gets an IP address from the DHCP Sever that is upstream. It is very slow to get an ip address. On a windows computer, it will error out with dhcp server unavailable and after 10 seconds or ...

Hi, I have a wireless network with a Mikrotik as my gateway router. I would like to setup logging so that I know where my users are going on the internet. I have a few hundred subscribers. Any thoughts on how I might do this?

AP Side is just an ap doing dhcp. You should be able to test if it works on any AP, Linksys, netgear, any cheap thing just to see if you are briding the connection when you connect to it
