Re: 3x3 MIMO antennas >20dBi

This is a badly based experiment, the construction based only on some images, without any technical detail . On the other hand, there is absolutely no connection that MIMO 3x3 is exclusively for indoor. On the contrary, an oudoor link is much more feasible because there are two identical equipments....

Seriously !! Understand that you used this type of feeder.
Or do you just give it your opinion about what you see in a picture?
How did you find that there are no phase differences between the connectors?

Re: 3x3 MIMO antennas >20dBi

For 30 dBi you should look for a parabolic offset or prime focus feeder.
Something like that

Re: dual-polarization, recommendation

If you refer to isolation between polarizations, you can not calculate it, measure it.
The minimum acceptable is -20dB.
If you refer to isolation between two antennas, there is no standard, the higher, the better.

How much does the land cost in the area? I suspect you sell land, not equipment.

Because wireless it is bi-directional communication , and antenna have the same gain in tx like in rx .
That means you have better reception with big antenna than small antenna.

Re: Combining two radios into one antenna

scampbell: your idea is not working because that is a low band (2.4G) and hi band (5G) filter inside. Ndor: yes, i can be done with bandpass filter - but that would really limit the usage. For example: radio port1 filtered to 5500-5650 radio port2 filtered to 5750-5900 Again: Mimosa connect 2 radio...

Yes , it is possible if you use a duplexer and additional bandpass filters .In fact the same setup is also used in the professional equipment .

1. No. And you can not fit both devices in the antenna focus .
2. Yes.......the signal go to the sky , if you don't redirect the dish on the desired direction .

Re: NetMetal antenna configuration - V-V vs. H-V

To combine antennas with the same polarization has nothing to do with the spatial diversity . No more than it can be said that the system will become SISO . The advantage would be that it will be a single polarization , less interference , an area covered more widely . The spatial diversity has noth...

Yes, you can use how many antennas you like, with the same polarization . It will work very well .
You can use power divider 2: 1 to mount two antennas on the same connector .
Total 6 antennas !!

Re: Microstrip (flat panel) versus eliptical (disk) antenas?

Using a metal tube, you will create a waveguide .At that diameter and a frequency between 5-6 Ghz you will not get anything at the other end . Or ,if you have a signal, it will be very bad . See waveguide transmission line theory On the other hand, if use a metal tube with finite lenght , you will n...

Re: Need advice to cover 20km wifi

I think you have no idea how it works in wireless , data transmission. A mobile client is not the same as a stand alone client. I'll give you two small clues: 1 - Antennas between AP and client need to see one another without obstacles. 2 - A mobile client that connects to the AP with a phone, table...

Re: Problem with 3x3 MIMO Antennas and Netmetal

In my opinion using a slant polarization for a 3x3 system is a mistake. Slant polarization is not recommended for use in combination with polarization H and V .Insulation due to very small differences from the other two. Only -3 dB against each of them. Usually, singular slant polarization is used in...

First, you must understand what they mean polarization. It is the electromagnetic wave polarization that has no connection with how the antenna is p...

In theory no matter who is above and who is below.
In practice I would suggest that 5.8 ghz antenna to be placed on top.
Of course this is also depending on their radiation in the vertical plane and each antenna gain,

I guess you want to mount one RB on each floor. Otherwise I do not see how you could have good coverage with omni antennas in 4 floors.
In this case no matter what distance are antennas to one another.
