Re: [RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD] Identifying a strong 2.4 GHz signal

The router RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD is making the spectral scans. From what I can tell, it does not emit while doing that.

[RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD] Identifying a strong 2.4 GHz signal

Hi, I'd like your help with understanding the following WiFi issue concerning my RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD with a Atheros AR9300 2.4 GHz chip. How it started The WiFi connection between a laptop and the router was very bad over 2.4 GHz. Pings of around 1000ms even with the laptop 1m away from the router. ...

Re: 750G sudden crash

So far I was unable to manually reproduce the problem.
I'll upgrade RouterOS and wait for it to happen again, should it happen again.

750G sudden crash

Hello Sometimes my RB750G suddenly stops working. All ethernet leds go off, only the power led remains on. I can't connect to the router during this time. It comes back alive only after I unplug it and plug it back in. The log only mentions that the router was rebooted without a proper shutdown. Wha...

Re: Sector writes

In the store list I have one called web-proxy1. It was probably created when I tried out the web-proxy for a few minutes after buying the router. [admin@MikroTik] /store> print Flags: X - disabled, A - active # NAME TYPE DISK STATUS 0 A web-proxy1 web-proxy system active However I can't disable/remo...

I didn't change the configuration since then (I'm using the router at home with only a few PC's behind it), nor do I log the a file. Sector writes

Hello

I have a RB750G running RouterOS v4.16. Since the last reboot (18 days ago) I have about 3 million sector writes (Total 11 mil). What could be causing them?
NTP Client active, Logging settings default. The log only show's when I've connected via winbox.
