Change openvpn route metric

Hello, I connect my mikrotik as a client to an openvpn server. It pushes to me several routes. For the route 10.0.0.0 I have already a direct vpn with mikrotik ip tunnel. Problem is that in routes table I have two routes with metric 1 and mikrotik chooses always openvpn. How can I increase the openv...

Trunk compatibility with hp

Hello,
I would like to know if I can configure a static trunk with vlan between a CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN and an HP1820-48g.
It is important to supporto also vlans.
I see in switch menu of HP I can choose different hashing algorithms.

Thanks in advance,

Re: CRS and vlan untagged port, again

Infact I can understand that the router creates a dynamic vlan for my wan port (eth2-master). But I must have a way to exclude the untagged port from automatic inclusion in a dynamic vlan.

I have seen also you thread but I have no solution.

Solution is using some cheap ADSL router as a bridge (not router/modem) and setting up PPPoE on mikrotik. Then ADSL router does nothing, just acting as switch. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/PPPoE This works if your provider has pppoe. If your isp uses rfc1483 this solution, as far ...

Re: My RB751G-2HnD is very slow

I have solved the problem. I have changed cable without luck.
Then I discovered a lot of crc errors and they were increasing. So I forced 10mbit from rb751 to modem and bingo: all goes nice now.

But I am not satisfied: why I had to force 10mbit? The modem with a notebook or a pc works at 100 mbit.

Re: My RB751G-2HnD is very slow

I have tried also configuring it from scratch without using "quick set" but the result is the same.
I am seeing stats: no loss of packets in any interface. Low ping means that adsl download channel is not saturated.
So it seems that someone is slowing down tcp.

Can you help me?

If by speed test you mean a thing like www.speedtest.net I have already done it.
It gives me the same results: 50KB and a somewhat higher ping, 105 ms and not 50/60.
I have done it on wireless and wired.

Re: Debian guest

you can check the patch for OpenWRT it should not be so much different for other linux distros, just that you have to use microLib (ulib).
So basically there is no port available.

It is a pity that a feature so powerful like metarouter is not used very much due to very few ready images.
