Just make a PPTP connection between the two MT routers. Go to the MT1 router and under /interface eoip and create a new eoip tunnel (e.g. /interface eoip add name=link1-2 remote-address=10.1.1.1 tunnel-id=23). The networks are in the same segment? If so then:

1. create some sort of VPN between the two routers
2. create an EOIP tunnel between the networks

Now you have a working netbeui on LAN over VPN.

Hi,

If I understood correctly you need to router traffic from client1 over server to client2. This can be done more then 1 way. The simplest way in my opinion is to use dynamic routing protocols like OSPF or RIP. You can also use static routes.

RB1200 and RB2100 are the worst and most unstable routers from Mikrotik ever.
Also, do not ever use ports 9-10 on 1200s, and all is good.

This has to be a bug, can you please look into this? There are a lot of posts on forums over the internet about Mikrotik and OSPF errors in logs.

Now it's spamming non-stop, every 5s, before it was 40s. Did I do this correct?

Maybe it has something to do with bridges...? I have a bridge for every port on e.g. RB100U. Flash/HDD aren't doing anything when 100% cpu occurs. You only need to send some data through the router and it's on 100%. Didn't see this in RoS v5.18 and below.

The problem seems to be connected with mini-pci/USB drivers for 3g/2g devices in Mikrotik. If you use a serial modem and communicate with it via AT commands, the router doesn't freeze anymore. Mikrotik really has very poorly written drivers.
