Having the same problem here with a 1036
Cpu goes 100% unable to make suppout file.

The profile shows 100% cpu firewall usage. Disabled NAT/Contrack and now the 100% cpu usage is from a PCQ queue.

Re: Prioritise ospf routing

It's pretty simple.

You only need to put a higher cost on the OSPF INTERFACE that connects to Router C on the OSPF interface settings in ROUTER B.

For instance, change from default 10 to 20.

This should do the trick.

Hi,

While we're working with Mikrotik Support Team with a routing problem, i need help with you script masters, for an easy script thats monitors cpu usage, and if CPU gets 100% for at least 30seconds the scripts auto runs a system reboot command.

Thanks!

i´m now planning the upgrade date to early next week.

just put a dual intel gigabit card but its pci :( the actual server is used as traffic shaper in a bridge mode, 180 simple queues, about 40 mangle rules and 20 queue tree rules, moving 150mbits traffic.

its just a basic network routing, your isp will provide a datalink address /30 and will forward public addresses for your /30 ( for an example 69.69.69.69.0/24 so you can setup in your rb1000 lan interface 69.69.69.1/24 and it will be the default gateway for your clients, then distribute 69.69.69.2-...

The Queue with Highest Priority (priority=1) serves first, I think the Order of the Q don't matter. i dont exactly thing so.. becouse from the manual " simple queues have strict order - each packet must go through every queue until it will meet conditions. (In case of 1000 queues, packet for l...

if memory is not a factor, then increase your limit =) I prefer greater values, less drops Memory is not a factor on this router (2 gigs of RAM). 50 is the default value for limit. Increasing it decreases drops, but doesn't that also increase latency in the network, when PCQ is actually queueing? I...
