Itr seems that cpu is getting exhausted over time.

I wouldn't expect enything higher than 300mbps in perfect conditions. If You need more bandwidth on a short link seek for WAP60G/LHG60 - Wireless Wire.

i suppose EU regulation allow only PtP mode in 60ghz, so any KIT of two working as a "WIRE" link are ok. LHG60 lite was meant to be ptmp client and as is there is a problem with certification. You shoud give a try to latest RouterOS 6.44 , as SXTsq5ac is ARM device, there are reports that last release is somewhere up to 2xfaster.

Are there any improvements in nv2 regarding older architecture, mipsbe+AC (omnitik ac) ?
I'm still using 802.11 mode in such scenario and for some longer period of time I stopped buying those omnitiks.

Do I got You right, that on 80mhz ptmp scenario You can supply clients with 200mbps?
ofcourse I do understand it's real world so overbooking is taken into account. But no complains from customers is enough , isn't it?

@WirelessRudy, how would You compare effectiveness of Elevate vs original ROS (% of bndwdth/jitter) ? And how would You compare 80mhz ptmp A5c vs mikrotik AC? As my networki is rather old, I could say I'm building it since beginnig of Mtik adventure in this field, I've got a lot towers mikrotik only...

I've got WAP60 and sxt60 ~25cm/30degree apart, and one LHG60 little bit lower ~2metres. all 3 within 90degrees without any problem.
WAP is ptmp, sxt and lhg are ptp.

Thanks for reply, but I see it quite expensive bracket. And with my brick chimney 50m high, windload gives a lot of instability overall. Dear users, what is Your real world bandwidth usage?
Is lhg60 in short distance ptp scenario really able to push ~1gbps ?

I just put up a 370m link to feed few hundred users from 1gb/s fiber and I wonder if it's gonna work or should I look for more sophisticated FDX solution?

Use export to file. Then use terminal and past sections one at at time. I find pasting in terminal much more reliable but I don’t suggest importing the whole file at once. So backup is useless when restoring to IDENTICAL hardware like e.g 2011, but export and step by step import is a workaround and...

I've got 3011 running for almost year or so, as a PPPoE server, queues for each of 200-249 clients. (traffic up to 250-300mbps ) looking into cpu usage history tells that it's saturation is about 30-50% not more, but it may be moments when smthng maxes one core so I'd recommend 1100AHx4 it should be...

i've reverted back to 6.43rc17 and for now 4 days link uptime.
nevertheless It looks to me that transmission freezes from time to time, because I've seen some stalled frames in video streams, but at least not so dissapointing as 42.5.
still no perfect :/

I've upgraded WAP60g in ptmp scenario 2xapc - distance 170mtr wap60 and 270mtr - lhg60 before was 43rc17, jitter was quite ugly some ping went to 170ms but more or less stable, after I've upgraded all to 42.5 I got better MCS, but devices disconnects every few hours, worse is they dont came back in ...

ok, I did manage to reset to default remotely ( lucky me i'm on eth side ) and after testing similar ARM AC mtik on workbench i figured out that on 6.40.3 You can not change back from nstreme to other wireless protocol. as long as nv2/80211 is choosen there is no problem, but setting nstreme renders...

Try to switch used frequency to 58320 and upgrade to 6.42.1 why should I change freq? It seems to work quite good with rc52. there is no noise or other 60ghz link visible under scan. besides if it works worse with newer routerOS I doubt Your advice is to solve problem looks rather as a workaround. ...

spectrum is quite noisy (omnitik case) distance is minimal, 100metres, but it's about protocol, I struggled with nstreme, sometimes switched to nv2 when mikrotik revealed next super optimalization of nv2 protocol. runing Omnitik AC since 2 months connected SXTqac on plain 802.11
link uptime 33days (reseted only because of wlan protocol change to 802.11)
my speedtest on 40mhz channel ( 360~400mbps PHY rate)

looks like housing, reflector is not much different, only inside wireless chipset differs as AC has the same ARM cpu,

Massive improvement. However odd thing. Customer has 20megs. www.openspeedtest.com confirms. As does real world test like streaming multiple streams simultaneously. Ookla only shows 6 to 8 megs ??? Any ideas. Ookla is Def wrong Maybe mikrotik staff "borrowed" some technics from plain 802.11n. afair...
