30 oct 2019 end of gmail support for email send

As an recently email Google sends me, 30 oct 2019 will be date less secure apps option available. That means no one could send emails trough mikrotik devices with a gmail or gsuite domain account. I think it's important to know this fact.

Re: Usage GPON module SFP in Spain

The one with OpenWRT installed already gives you more options in the configuration.
Do you mean that zisa module can be flashed with openwrt?

Thanks

I think this need a fix as soon as possible.

Re: Usage GPON module SFP in Spain

Any update about this topic? I've read all posts in thread but links to valero-torres.es shows website is under manteniance. Anybody has copy of this info? It will be great to include in mikrotik's wiki (although they don't be worth of it)

Thanks!

Different routes over PPPoE

Hi Guys I have a wisp and actually I'm offering Public IPs to all customers. I do a trick to get it because I cannot get a ISP to resell an IP range at a real world price. So I rent housig for 1U router in a datacenter thet offers me Internet Traffic and a /20 IPv4 addresses. At datacenter router th...

Re: BaseBox5/NetBox5 RF shield

I'm not 100% sure of that because i haven't any netbox here but I think a netbox is a 91x board so it's very probably it will fit into.

If anyone can confirm this will be very helpful.

PPJ 100% agree with all your reply. Never told better (maybe beacuse my poor english :) ). I'm also thinking bad and I bet that UM is still in production releases because they prefer that we work with it and use the forum to document it but I'm afraid that this is not going to go by the right track....

Re: MikroTik User Manager documentation

I agree but why include a half-finished product in stable releases? As I said before, I prefer v3 well documented than v4 practically unusable.

Anyway a wiki is a powerful tool (if anyone updates it of course....)

Hi Normis, thanks for replying... The only thing I don't understand is why a undocumented service is ready in stable releases. It's very confussing to setup Usermanager4 from a new routerboard with newer firmwares (5.x) following wiki documentation that mostly talks about Usermanager 3. Personally I...

I missed so much old-style 700 pages manual :(

Hi, I'm migrating from UM 3 to UM 4 and I have troubles getting users time left or credit left. My hotspot is controlled via selfcoded web (php). I use API command: $API->write('/tool/user-manager/user/print',false); to get all user details like credit-left So what I need is to know how much time or...

yeah I don't take care of static routing (doh!), very simple then. The problem is RB1000 get its public address from pppoe and I can't get more public IPs in this interface. At office RB433 also can't get public address, only local because we don't hace access to its config. I have a lot limits I kn...
