Faced similar problem today. Once again bigear-fatglasses coders changed something radically, without any reason, just for da hell of it. Now dst-nat is not working if dst address is given. removing it - works fine. Why da %$* do they do that???? I have 4.6 on that RB. Before that I had quite many, ...
Try switching them to 10Mbps FD.
Check if there are no physical damages in the cable (rainwater drops in?). What changed in the premises? Maybe someone ran 10kV line near your cable?
The 411AH setup is simple AP, I suppose, so reset it and configure it fresh. Change PSU if possible.
You are not. It depends where you want to send those e-mails. Mine and many more servers do not accept connections from such countries as Pakistan, Brazil, Nigeria, China etc. Why? Because they are full of russian spambots! And those 3rd world ISPs do not know how to stop spam with simple firewalls....
Hello, /ip firewall nat add chain=dstnat dst-address=my.wan.ip protocol=tcp dst-port=81 \ action=dst-nat to-addresses=192.168.1.103 to-ports=0-65535 Whey I try to connect my.wan.ip:81 - connection timed out. Where is the problem? Do I need to add something else in NAT? Yeah, you do. Forward the 81....
Simple! 1. Mikrotik router in the main office and in each branche! In RouterOS you make IPIP tunnels. Pluses all RouterOS features. Minuses - need to buy Mikrotiks for each branch. 2. Mikrotik in main office and whocareswhat in branches. PPTP server in main office and VPN client on wrkstns in branch...
Vista has many DHCP problems that are admitted by the MS knowledge-base.
Brand new Toshiba laptop with brand new Win7 simply doesn't get IP from 4.5/3.20/3.30 DHCP via ethernet. It simply doesn't! Iphones/Xperias/Nokias/MacOS/Windows XP and Linuxes do fine. What to blame? Think!
Your ISP has an ID 10 t error. Usually found between users chair and keyboard, but in this case - your ISPs "admins" chair and keyboard
Try to change ISP, if not possible - talk to a higher manager, not that "techsupport".
Have you mentioned your routerboards model?
A solution can be given to a person who understands what he is doing (at least can state a question). What do you expect?
That someone will teach you network basics and RouterOS in 1 forum post? Come back to reality!
Winbox discovery by MAC doesn't work either???? Netinstall!
AFAIK 2 beeps mean it has booted up normally.
Winbox pēc MAC adreses arī neatrod? Tātad Netinstall.
Cik atceros 2 pīkstieni nozīmē ka ir iebootojies normāli.
You are simply doing something wrong. RTFM about droping by src IP and thats all. Erase the rules and add them again, remember - order counts too 8) And there is a small possibility that upgrading to 4.xx version would help and a tiny possibility (usually with wireless involved) that resetting the c...
He doesn't understand anything in networks. No use trying.
Have seen such people. Sadly they are here too. Doing something with no basic network understanding and logics. And some of them even get a payslip for that.
I need RS232. I have found several Mini PCI cards that have 4 RS232 ports on them but I don't know if ROS will recognize them and be usable. That is what I really need to know. Are there any cards that are known to work with ROS. I never understood the level of peoples technical knowledge. You some...
What is the point of dropping src-ports?
Judging by the country (Moldova), that is a torrent or a botnet. Just drop that IP (all protocols) in firewall and thats all. No shapes no useless CPU usage. I don't see a problem.
Wireless AP is like a hub (not a switch). If you put in B mode (11Mbps, as you show in your screenshots) and connect 30 stations, then there are no wonder at all about bad speed.
Whats not to understand?
I try again, but nothing. I set the modem in bridge mode and the pubblic ip in teh RB , PPPoE I can't know the username and password. I find a partial solution, I leave the zyxel in routing mode but I disable the NAT so I put 1 public IP to the ETH1 on the RB1100, in this way I is ok. That is a sol...
Everything is powered from the UPS or some devices are straight from "wall socket"? I remember some situations where the problem was devices using different phases and somewhere nearby someone stealing electricity :) Such problem will not be discovered by any tester, 600$ or 16$. P.S. Why Cisco->Rou...
Before that wouldn't hurt to simulate situation when the accountance program client loses connection with server. Expected error - database on server needs to be reindexed each time client loses connection while doing some entries. In some situations the only solution is remote desktop connection to...
Nonsense. Recommending back to school.
Yes, 3.10 on 133 boards shows more CPU load, but only when you log in with winbox.
In fact, some 4.xx beta used less resources than 3.10 (or 3.13, don't remember).
Same SSID, different channels. client cards driver needs to understand the "roaming" feature.
Kinda waste of perfectly good 433 boards because only 1 will be a router, others will work like cheap access points.
I hope you don't plan to put all corporate network on wireless, that would be silly.
