Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM MPLS Support

Damn.
Haven't tried SW/OS, but does this support VLANs?

We basically are after 10Gb switch, with good VLAN support, LACP, RSTP. Nothing layer 3.
Both features are supported on CRS317-1G-16S+ :
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/SwOS/CRS317
No Q-in-Q support though in SwOS. :(

Re: CRS317-1G-16S+RM MPLS Support

Is LACP supported with VLANs on CRS317-1G-16S+RM using the new bridge method?
If so how?

Essentially, trunking VLANs over LACP (hardware based) and then also using the same VLANs for tagging or native on the various SFP+ ports?

Re: Report "Delegated-IPv6-Prefix" attribute for PPPoE

Great! Make please support "Delegated-IPv6-Prefix"
YES.
This is what we are waiting for.

When will this be available.

IPv4 can run for ever.
Mikrotik could help us massively by enabling this RADIUS attribute.

Set Mikrotik-Delegated-IPv6-Pool RADIUS reply with prefix not IPv6 Pool name

Hi, We want to dual-stack customers via PPPoE. We wish to statically assign customer's IPv4 and IPv6 addresses via RADIUS. With IPv4 this is working. IPv6 is not. It seems as though we have to use the Mikrotik-Delegated-IPv6-Pool RADIUS attribute, however from testing, this will only work when you s...

Re: Report "Delegated-IPv6-Prefix" attribute for PPPoE

We really need to set this field via RADIUS manually. We can't assign the name via RADIUS. We need to assign the specific /64 prefix via RADIUS. Otherwise we have to log onto each router, add a pool with a specific name, and then add the RADIUS group against the customer. This is an extra step which...

Re: FTC fiber to copper converter

We have tried the following SFPs in the FTC without success.
TP-LINK: TL-SM321A, TL-SM321B, TL-SM311LS.

Has anyone else had joy with non-Mikrotik SFPs?

Also, what is the red LED?

Re: Leap second bug present on TILE devices?

I can confirm we suffered from this problem at the stroke of 00:00 GMT. http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?p=488659#p488659 2 of our 3 CCRs failed and required a hard power cycle to function again. All CCRs are on 6.27 and have the NTP package installed, including the 1 that stayed online. Not ...

Re: Leap Second insertion

We also had 2 of our 3 CCR1036's fail at exactly 00:00 GMT (01:00 BST). 1 CCR1036 stayed online however. They are on 6.27. We can only bring them back online with a hard power cycle. The LCD screen would not light up, and no traffic to or from the router. NTP was configured on all. Everything is bac...

Re: CCR1036-12G-4S SFP port Strange behaviour

Hi, We're also getting 4-7% packet loss using S-31DLC20D and CCR1036-12G-4S. SFP1: S-85DLC05D (MM multimode) SFP2: S-31DLC20D (SM single mode) I posted a new article on this yesterday: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=96834 Our problems started after the CCR was powered off incorrec...

Packet loss to downstream router connected to CCR1036-12G-4S after power cut

Hi, We suffered a mains power outage earlier and this took offline our CCR1036-12G-4S in an uncontrolled fashion. The CCR1036-12G-4S has three connections. SFP1 (Mikrotik MM 1Gb module): Upstream connection to Internet SFP2 (Mikrotik SM 1Gb module): Downstream to RB1100AHx2 PPPoE NAS router ETH6 (1G...

Re: Problem running PPPoE Server for conn over 2,5 Mbps

Sounds like the simple queues are getting approximately 85% of their scheduled bandwidth for a single stream. I don't use simple queues, so I'm not sure why that is. We use queue tree. But with queue tree, (we especially), would have to enable con tracking, packet marketing, routing marketing, and ...

I want to know, using RB433AH routerboard with 2 r52h wireless card. Is it possible to use same frequency "2484" on 2.4Ghz with same band for point to multipoint network through sector antenna at same location. No. You can, but the performance will be rubbish! They will interfere with eac...

Re: Problem running PPPoE Server for conn over 2,5 Mbps

I also get this issue with clients connecting via PPP from UBNT radios and using RADIUS AAA with MK routers. I sell 30 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up to the customer. I set the RADIUS rate-limit slightly higher at 35 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up. (RADIUS mikrotik-rate-limit is set to: 6M/35M.) When clients run ...
