Sorry :) But you got the idea what is going on correctly. And I think you are on the point, I can't ping 1.2.3.10 from 192.168.1.10. I (idiot) was looking the wrong thing all the time, I thought 1.2.3.10 can access 192.168.1.10, not the other way around. Why the hell doesn't it want to ping 1.2.3.10...

tnakir , how are you powering the device? Please make sure you have specified the correct APN as sometimes with invalid APN it would not connect to the LTE network. We also have ltap, and it works only when there is LTE signal.

If there is HSDPA/3G/2G signal, it doesn't connect.

LTE interface sometimes dissapears.

Built in GPS antenna is useless.

Yeah, we noticed that the PoE on RB260GSP series performs wierd. We switched to RB750UP which works fine.

But why putting configuration nobody is using? You can configure your router with quick setup if you want, but mostly people don't use default config, they delete it.

Yeah, that default configuration is really pain in the ass, on all the boards. Please, leave the board without any configuration (except maybe IP on eth1).

I know that isn't very comforting, but it realy works ok. We performed numerous tests and torchured the board and it behaved ok.

Mikrotik support found the problem source: the issue happens when the antenna cable (the cable that connects onboard wifi and the omni antenna) goes over the PCB. So, if you move the cable aside the PCB, the board works fine. Go figure...

I aslo encountered two 751U-2HnD boards which went flashing when connected to original power supply. After I connected it to 24V power supply it worked normally, even with the original power supplys which was problematic.

Yesterday i tried to replace ethernet connector from an old RB411 and I did not manage to remove the connector without damaging him badly. I was trying to use Weller soldering station and hot air blower.

What tools do you use to remove these connectors?

Sounds like there is a problem with some of the later 751U hardware since we have a few people all seeing the exact same thing. Unfortunately, that just means to me that I will not be using this Mikrotik device and will thoroughly test the wireless of any future hardware before putting it into prod...

We also had one SXT which was mounted near the sea, ended as the pile of rust. I guess the salty fog gets in the sxt, condesates on the PCB which corrodes.

Nope, you can not fit 3 of those cards into RB433 cause they're too thick.

We received new shipment from Mikrotik.
Some of the boards expiriencing the same problems.
Unstable, rebooting, unable to access.
We tried installing ROS 5.19 and FW 2.41, and it didn't help.

ROS 5.18 did not help.

Some RB433GL (new from the box) still have issues with not booting, unable to perform netinstall etc etc...

Nope, they all came with stock frequency of 680 Mhz.
We also started to receive some 711-2HnD not being able to boot, they also came from the same box.
I just hope the problem exists only with this shippment :(

We have a box of 433GL that are unstable: rebooting, randomly unable to connect to them via Winbox (MAC/IP). We tried netinstalling to 5.16, upgraded fw to 2.39. Nothing helped.

Try doing a netinstall. SXT sometimes gets "stuck" on ROS update.

Us too are having more problems with capacitors. First, we had problems only with RB450/G series, and now we have problems with 411, 433, 750/G etc etc... We were talkin to our clients about 751, and it seams it will be a very popular product.

Both us and them are waiting for 751 to hit the market, and it's a bit annoying explaining to them that the product publishing is postponed over and over again :(((

Our SXT testing

We managed to achieve stable 150Mbit TCP throughput with 2 SXT connected to 2 computers. We used IPerf with 4 threads. Some of our friends established 200Mbit TCP link on 3 km distance. So far, we're happy with the device. Nice job MT!

We are at the coast as well, and we do not use any special treatment to the boards or the casings. We only use vulcanizing tape on N connectors (pigtail > cable > antenna) to prevent moisture to enter and that's it. These pra boxes are 100% dry.

Using plastic antennas/outdoor cases would do the trick?
Salt doesn't affect PVC and the board is safe in there. We use Itelite PRABox and all pra antenas and they are sealed when closed.

We are recieving requests for RB1100U on daily basis, and yet, it is unavailable at Mikrotik and in all stores we contacted in Europe. When will it be available @ Mikrotik.

Is the shortage related to, maybe, publishing of a new 1xxx board? Maybe 1100 with SFP interface?

I have used a large number of 750G's and so far have had no issues, I always buy them with the Mikrotik "High Power" PSU, the 24volt one, maybe it's the cheap PSU's you are using causing the issues ? We are using the PSU provided with the routerboard. We sold few hundreds of both 750 and ...

We ordered few dozens of RB750G and have lots of problems with it. Some of them just die after some time (they power up, but eth ports are dead). Some of them signalize that ethx port is active and there is no cable plugged in. They do not respond? Anyone had simmilar isues with RB750G?
