Re: Any ETA?

Hit the higher ups with a stick and make their minds up for them to re-work the hotspot to include the IPV6.

Well, maybe just nudge them in the rework direction. lol Don't want you to loose a job over it. Our licenses go up to lvl7 so we'll wait.

Thanks for responding Normis. :D

Any ETA?

Is there any estimated date when IPV6 will be integreated into the hotspot server services? Also when will Usermanager be able to track the download and upload traffic associated with IPv6? Is there also work being done to have the simple queues be auto created just like the ipv4 user hotspot-queues...

Re: Profile limitations - what to believe, web or console

There is a way to do assign profiles through console but it involves creating a master account for each profile. First I'd print a list of all the users by /tool user-manager user print file=filename. Then edit this file to be a filename.rsc place your commands as if running from console. /tool user...

Re: Install 5.6 userman

The combined package does not include the usermanager. You have to download all packages to see the usermanager package. Then drag and drop the usermanager package into the root of the files folder. Afterward just reboot and you can start configuring the usermanager software.

Re: Install 5.6 userman

It's very easy to install userman 5.6 on an x86 system. Please read the wiki. Make sure when updating from 5.5 to 5.6 place all the packages in the root of the Files area (not a subfolder), then reboot the system. If this is a new install on an x86 harddrive use the ISO, burn and boot then configure.

As far as being able to hide the password on the sign-up page, do like we do create your own login page. Place it on the router and update the links. Not really that hard as the login page is mostly html with a form posting varibles back to the router. After re-reading are you referring to the custo...
