I have a similar issue. When it was just one xbox360 on the network, upnp always created open NAT. Now that there is a 360 and an XBone, they're both getting moderate nat. UpNp enabled still. Would love to get a proper solution to this.

A new RB2011 died after upgrade from 5.23 to 5.24... wow I upgraded an RB2011 from 5.23 to 5.24 and then upgraded the firmware. Not only did it go smoothly, but a wireless ethernet bridge I had on the network is now able to connect without any dropouts (it was disconnecting every few mins on 5.23).

So can it be said (or confirmed by Mikrotik) that a upnp nat rule does not require a firewall filter rule that accepts it?

For instance, if you have a firewall filter rule to drop all forward chain packets from the internet interface, the upnp nat rule will accept them regardless?

How about a "script" for turning UPnP off and on every night to clear it ?
A kill and restart script is what I had thought of at first, it seems to work really well on other open source platforms. There has to be some decent way to do this in RouterOS.

It has been my experience that if you have multiple xboxs behind a firewall and with upnp enabled, each xbox will pick a port.

the first will pick 3074
the second will pick 6148

and so on. I've run 3 at a time.

Absolutely.

I'm not sure if it's affecting anything, it just seems odd.

Model field is blank but board name at the bottom says RB450G. All other fields populated.

Upgraded from 4.14 to 4.15 on RB450G. Upgrade seemed to have failed, router simply never came back. After 17 minutes I pulled the power and then plugged back in. Router seemed to boot up just fine with new 4.15 version after that.


Are we SURE the 4.14 boot loader bug didn't affect other models?
