Re: RB750Gr3 - Report and questions

RB750Gr3 switch chip does not have full VLAN tagging/untagging support yet, it is planned to implement it in future. Currently, you should use RB750Gr3 switch chip only for basic switching. RB750Gr3 is also powerful enough to handle software based VLANs: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interfa...

Feature request: please add scrolling ability to WinBox dialog boxes

Hi, If you open a more complex panel in WinBox (e.g. Wireless / Interfaces / wlan1 / Wireless in advanced mode) on a lower resolution (e.g. HD) display the panel doesn't fit in the main WinBox window even if it is in full screen mode. In this situation the lower part of the panel is unavailable beca...

Re: RB2011 series epidemic

Did you try Netinstall? I'd suggest writing an email to support on this one. Usually I have no problem with netinstall, but with these routers there in not any vital sign from them neither from USB the console ports nor the beeper. I tried to power up the routers during I press the reset button (or...

2,4 GHz band channels at Hungary

Dear Developers at MikroTik, When you set the country of a wireless interface to Hungary there are only 9 channels (2412 to 2452 MHz) available. But the Hungarian regulations according to this document: http://english.nmhh.hu/dokumentum/364/broadbanddatatransmissionwithwirelessdevices.pdf enable all...

Re: Dude 4.0 beta4??

1. Lack of the ppc support is a barrier to migrate to The Dude v4, because of some of our Dude agents are ppc devices.
2. Native Linux version (at least the server side) would be fine.

Re: monitoring 490 items - want to move from x86 to 1100ahx2

I am monitoring ~220 devices (ping, cpu, voltage, temperature, traffic parameters etc.) with Dude 3.6 running on ROS 5.x for a half year. ROS is installed on an Intel D525 dual core Atom platform with 2 GB of RAM and an 16 GB SSD. There are no moving parts. The CPU load usually is at 5-15%, the disk...

An alternative solution for this feature request:
Add feature to specify credits as normal, but set up an absolute account termination date and time (e.g. 2011. March 25. 22:00)
