Mikrotik Power Brick - US Version

I am looking for 2x of the following;

https://mikrotik.com/product/mt48_480095_11dg

However, I need the DGU version. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have had a couple of these bricks die and had to steal them from other CCR stock. Does anyone know where I can grab the DGU version?

so I think then, since I can keep it in a good clean environment, this is a good option and connect it with 12/2 Romex to the top of the tower.

These indicate outdoor. I have a fully generated power source with backup in a building below the tower. Is this indicated installing a standard plug on one side and connect it to 18/2 on the other end? If so that works all the same for me.

Re: Offloading bandwidth queues - Transparent?

Depends which CCR1009 in particular ... CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ has a switch chip managing ether1-ether5 ... to have traffic through those ports to hit bridge code one has to disable HW offload.
It is a CCR1009-8G-1S-PC, maybe I'll try the upper ports, looks like it may have group 1 as ether1-4

Dual WAN, Bandwidth queues

I am running a Dual Wan load balancing setup with PCC.

I need to put a max limit on each WAN so that I can keep latency down. I need to cap both interfaces @ 29Mbps and not let them go over that. I can then queue each user @ 5Mbps x 5Mbps.

I see it, 130.3Mbps from your bandwidth test is UDP, the rest is real traffic. I can't do tx and rx 50Mbps, mine is one way tops.

So again is there anything tweaked in the bridge at all? everytime I add the bridge it adds a L2 MTU of 65535. yours is 1520.

Re: Bonding Wireless links

just tried the rule as well as adding the vlan to the switch. does not appear to work. It does work as soon as I bridge bonding1 and ether1 on both sides. I cannot ping from anything to the inside's of the rb's though (ether1, vlan 60 ip address). I suspect this is something to do with the vlan tags...

Re: Bonding Wireless links

I found this (http://lansklad.ru/articles/nastroyka_oborudovaniya/238/bonding_mikrotik_ubiquiti_rocket_m5_200_mbps_1204.html), I did have to translate it, I think they are doing exactly what I'm wanting to do as well. The problem is I can't see the rest of the configuration used. I can try and add t...

Re: Bonding Wireless links

Ok, So I have been trying to set this up, and still no luck. I have removed the native vlan so that vlan 60 and 70 are both tagged before making it to either mikrotik. ether1 on both RB450gs connect to the cisco switches on both sides. On both RB450g's I have ether 2 and ether 3 setup as the bonding...

Re: Routed Vlans

Ok, I cannot get this to work. I am getting 200Mbps on the wireless bridges with the RB450's have 2 bonded ether ports. That works great. I cannot grasp however how I will be able to manage the wireless bridges inside of that bond. I need to be able to get to their GUI's from the internal LAN. Also ...

Re: Routed Vlans

I have it setup currently in a test situation, the 2 routerboards are connected directly, I took the wireless bridges out for right now and wanted to test 2 Gbps ports in a bonded situation. I am only seeing 500Mbps or so going across in a bandwidth test between the 2 boards. Should it not be 2Gbps?...

Re: Routed Vlans

The Rockets are in StationWDS and AccessPointWDS respectively. The ports that the RB450's connect to the cisco switches are in question at this point for me. I have them trunked to allow vlan 60,70 with vlan 60 being native. I am now wondering how I setup ether 1 on the RB450's, do I add VLAN 60 and...

Re: Routed Vlans

Yes, http://wiki.ubnt.com/Mikrotik_bonding I'm doing this exactly right now, I am still trying to figure out how to make the routerboard and bridges transparent to carry the VLAN 60 and 70. Essentially ether3 and ether 4 right now are the two slaves in the bonding. The bridges are configured properl...

Re: Routed Vlans

I do want to bond the wireless ubnt rockets, I dont need to bond to the switches. I was under the impression that bonding from the rb450g would be the exact same setup that I have now? Maybe I'm reading that wrong. I essentially need to carry up to 200Mbps on the wireless bridges and the two vlans m...

Bonding Wireless links

I attached a pretty poor drawing of the network in question. I need to get two vlans across the wireless bridges with Load Balancing if possible. I figured someone else has run into this at some point, the bridges are currently working properly but in etherchannel, I cannot monitor them obviously no...

Routing 2 WANs

1 WAN for data and another for a SIP trunk. Whats the best way to route both? I have read the wiki on the ECMP load balancing (I don't want to load balance, just route all voip traffic to SIP trunk and route data through the cable modem), also read the Load Balancing over Multiple Gateways wiki. Any...

weird ping results

Hey all, I'm getting weird ping results from a switch, it will reply back with 3 responses. I checked to see if i have a duplicate IP problem, but my ARP table and an ARP ping to that address only shows the switch. I am thinking it may be a switch problem, has anyone run into this? I'm also seeing a...

traffic prioritization

Hello All, I currently have over 50 Routers running RouterOS in various forms. One of the big things that I'm wanting to do now is to prioritize http traffic ahead of say p2p etc to maybe take off some fo the bandwidth issues I am seeing at certain sites. I use pcq rules now and limit users to a set...

Re: RouterOS srcnat 1:1 PBX

I have been running torch and it looks like the packets are making it to the PBX just fine. So I see a src address from the static IP of my IP phones offsite, and the dst address as the public IP of my PBX that is in the dstnat rule. When I go to torch packets from my (src address) Public IP of the ...

Re: RouterOS srcnat 1:1 PBX

The reply address in SIP packets are in the payload, not in the IP headers. If you are using SIP, check pcap of the conversation and make sure its not replying to the private IP from the sources network. also if this is the case, what is the fix. on the external site as well they have static IP's w...

1 chain=dstnat action=dst-nat to-addresses=172.16.10.21
dst-address=1.1.1.21

this is the dstnat rule right after the src-nat, also if I torch the src. and dst addresses I can see a connection made for about 2 seconds then it disappears.

Re: RouterOS srcnat 1:1 PBX

why would it respond to a private IP if my srcnat and dst nat rules are 1:1? Im not using masquerade. Im using 1 private to public. anything incoming should be forwarded to the private IP and anything outgoing should be forwarded to the public IP.
