Re: cAP-ac Throughput & High Ping Problems

Thank you, pcunite and escandor! I will try your suggestions. Hello friend! any news on your scenario? I'm considering mikrotik for a large warehouse too. The first thing I'm not so confortable with, is that I think omni antennas/APs are not best suited for this enviroments, but I didn't find secto...

Re: Multiple Road Warrior L2TP/IPsec clients behind NAT - solved

Good day, Great analysis and superb workaround!! I had the same problem, came here googling. Now I know this is out of my league though so will find other solution. Seems this is not a mikrotik issue, but a protocols and features limitation. Would be nice though, to have the wiki updated on this thi...

Re: The radiation patterns for some boards

Hello all! Newbie question here. where can I find radiation patterns of current mikrotik wireless SOHO devices, in just a graphic format? I mean, no need for a file, just for picking a correct device for my scenario. But on product pages I cant seem to find the radiation pattern. I looked into broch...

Re: inter VLAN trafic routing RAW

The way you have written the rule, it only excludes from connection tracking packets in one direction. So the response packets in the other direction do not match this rule, so the connection tracking gets them and tracks them. So something like /ip firewall address-list add list=my-vlan-subnets ad...

inter VLAN trafic routing RAW

HEllo all, I saw a MUM presentation, they say RAW is new firewall table and works for instance to not have packets going through Connection tracking, and this can improve throughput. I have multiple VLANs (server farm, clients, development, and guest), and I think the traffic from clients to server ...

Re: n VLANs, allocated to x WAN

Im confused by the initial information. The member didnt mention a block of IPs but I am assuming a /29 block 6 useable IPs. One used for the router and private LANs (or vlans) and one used for public IP (4 left to use?) Then they added ISP2. Is that about right? Also why is it sometimes people mar...

n VLANs, allocated to x WAN

Hello, newbie here. Office scenario. 2 WAN links, different ISP. 4 VLANs, one for servers has public IP. Web server published, and other services. All firewall rules working, multiple port forwarding through ISP1. Time pases, bandwidth is not enough. We buy ISP2 access to separate Browsing traffic o...
