Re: Upgraded CRS125 New Bridge thing Broke DHCP

I factory defaulted, and put my config in section by section and everything seems to work. Something just got hung up internally I guess.

Re: Upgraded CRS125 New Bridge thing Broke DHCP

I did some testing last night. Devices connecting over either of my two Access Points, get IP's instantly. They are plugged directly into the CRS. Plugging the same machine into the switch, gets no DHCP. I'll try to do a packet capture tonight, see if I can see the dhcp request/offer packets going t...

Re: Upgraded CRS125 New Bridge thing Broke DHCP

I did try to remove, and recreate it, that failed. The only change I recall making was taking the 192.168.7.1 IP that was on there by default (in address list) off the bridge interface. I replaced it with my actual gateway/device IP that had been assigned port 1, which was the previous master. I rem...

Upgraded CRS125 New Bridge thing Broke DHCP

My DHCP stopped working after upgrading and having it convert to the bridge thing. I don't know what that means even. Here's my config. Could someone help see what's wrong here? Thank you! # feb/06/2018 00:45:37 by RouterOS 6.41.1 # software id = RFDS-HPT0 # # model = CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD /interface w...

CRS-125 to Juniper SRX

I've got a weird problem. Just put a Juniper SRX100 into my network as my internet firewall. My CRS is basically defaulted at this point with only port descriptions. I can't get l2 between devices. I see there was a post about a year ago with a similar instance, but no resolution, just a work around...

Re: HAP AC

I stopped fiddling with the CRS about a year ago. Haven't tried the queue or fastpath stuff I don't think. I bought it as a switch anyway, just figured I'd try the router function when I got it. Used the wireless for a bit, but it's even disabled now. When I get the HAP I might start playing a bit m...

Re: HAP AC

Thanks for that Quindor! I am aiming to consolidate. I tried all sorts of things with the CRS but just couldn't get it, even with a very basic NAT config, to hit over 30ish. I don't mind leaving it as a switch, it replaced my excessive cisco 2960s. I'll order one of these and see what I can get out ...

Re: HAP AC

I'm considering this device but wanted input from those of you more knowledgeable than me! I currently have a 60x4 cable connection with a Netgear R6200 being used as just a router with DD-WRT. I then have a Netgear R6300 being used as an AP. Around 30 wireless devices, 1/4th are AC, the rest a spli...

Re: CRS Documentation

@michaelahess The Ingress VLAN translation rules need enabled source address learning ( sa-learning=yes ), that will prevent traffic flooding. And seems that wireless interface should be bridged with specific VLAN interfaces which have IP addresses and DHCP servers configured. I enabled SA Learning...

Re: CRS Documentation

I've duplicated the config, mostly, for what steen has done. I have the switch working almost as expected now. However all the ports assigned to vlan 100 for example, seem to be leaking, traffic on the tx side is equal on all ports in that vlan. This has caused two strange issues, my Konica Minolta ...

Re: Switching with RouterOS / CRS Questions

Still not working. I applied a dhcp server to vlan300 but when I plug a laptop into port 3 I get nothing, like literally no packets coming to the laptop. I verified the port works fine with the laptop when on the default bridge with it's dhcp server. Do I need to do anything with the vlan tab on the...

michaelahess, The following Cloud Router Switch configuration should be applied for your setup: ... Thanks becs! I'll try this when I get home tonight. One thing I'm still worried about though, the master port of the switch group, is it best to not actually use that port for a real link since it ha...

Re: Switching with RouterOS / CRS Questions

I spent a few hours now trying to setup vlan tagging on my CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD-IN. See rough sketch below. I have the default config with minor changes for wireless. I can get a dhcp lease via the wireless interface. I've done the below config's mirroring the example on the site, but when I plug my l...

Re: SFP and compatibility with Cisco

That should work. the 1.25Gb is full data rate an SFP is capable of, Ethernet will limit that to 1Gb. As long as the wave is the same, and they talk Ethernet, there should be no issue.

Re: Inter VLAN Routing on RB750GL, RB2011iLS-IN and CRS125-2

I'd like to use the CRS125-24G-2S+IN to replace my RB750G and Cisco 2960S-24PS-L. Think it would have enough CPU power to handle that task? It's just at my house on a 30Mbx4Mb cable modem. I've got 23 devices on the switch but all we do is stream Netflix/Amazon Prime. Based on what I can see the CRS...

I guess maybe I don't understand fully. I thought your script only worked with changeip.com?

DDNS Script for DNSPark

I modified the scripts I found here and can't quite get it to work. It seems to fail at the HTTPS redirect they do. I get error 404. My DynDNS script works beautifully and this is nearly identical. # Set needed variables :local username "xxxxxx" :local password "xxxxxx" :local ho...
