We've started our own application using the APIv3 to do a run of queries and expected responses and reports from our devices Proactive monitoring and reporting with Threat detection (checking for changes in file system or scheduling / ports / services) as a result of being changed by third parties.....

Can I just say. About freaking time.

I hope you also lift up your communication with your customers and present us all with a roadmap. The dude is an incredible tool and if you implement half the serious requests and fix half the bugs you'll be unstoppable.

Nothing wrong with current dude. Just needs updates, bugfix, roadmap and communication. I don't think it needs re-created. It's a network tool, dedicated server, doing its thing. You could add a webinterface on it, but why go back to the drawing board?

Upgrade to 6.12 FW 3.13 no worries on CCR1016-12G. Had major L2TP issues with 6.11 rolled back to 6.6 and have now updated to 6.12 to test L2TP Buffer space issue is resolved.

Five Hours in. So far so good... Fingers crossed for a full recovery from two weeks of absolute instability.

2xCCR1016-12G, upgraded from 6.6 to 6.11. Bad Move. 6.11 buffer issues on BGP, dropped back to 6.10 more or less stable. Previous 6.6 had 200+ days of uptime. Would of been more but I was on 6.0RC11 for faaaaaarrrrr to long.

Over the weekend we upgraded our CCR1016-12G to 6.11, including Firmware to 3.12. It runs approximately 80 L2TP DSL connections and some BGP/OSPF. That's a nice list of messages to come to work to after a day off. I'm definately going to try NetXMS. Visually it looks less mature / impressive than the dude, but I can see some quick releases and good support on it.

Which is a shame, a license model would see at least enough revenue to fund 1 Developer. I've talked to many people who have played with it, liked it but been turned off by lack of release support and commitment.

I can confirm that upgrading to 5.16 for my RB500 resolved my 100% CPU issue.

/tool profile showed www as using 60 - 80% of CPU. Now it is running at about 20%
