Re: v6.45.8 [long-term] is released!

Here also problems with OSPF 24 hours after upgrade. Problems only in 1 CCR of a 10 units farm, but a big headache to identify were the problem was. Solved with reboot. Next night i will downgrade to 6.44.6.

Re: Mikrotik GPON ONU

Same problem again here. As soon as temperature increases, transceivers goes down. What a pity. It would be a good option playing with MKT Powerbox to provide POE solutions over a GPON Networks. Other product that I can't buy to Mikrotik.

Re: Using multiple routing tables

Not sure to understand your picture, but maybe you can solve the problem with command "/ip route rule" with some action like lookup on table main. Anyway, working with routing marks always difficults path traceability. Good luck.

Re: IPv6 transition mechanism

So solution is install other routers (not mikrotik) in network to do NAT64?, Isn't RouterOS a Network operating system? An OS that is focused on networking should support as more transition mechanism as possible, not only two or three. I can't defend Mikrotik against other Network operative systems ...

Re: OSPF - Networks

/24 will work and has sense if you want distribute OSPF through all downstream interfaces.

OSPF Filter

I'm trying to apply a filter to OSPF routers, and I can't do it between areas. It means, routers generated in area1 can't be filtered (with discard) via ospf-out chain in /routing/filter menu. Route remains at routing table of area 0 routers. Looking up at google I've find out that at Mikrotik's Wik...

Re: OSPF Design consideration

How many routers do you have? Probably its not necessary to create too many areas. You also need to tells us each area types. Its all default or there is some stub area? I think so. You are using an area for any network block. You could have all your network in a backbone area. Nowadays, you don't ...

You can add your own IP address as exception in all your INPUT DROP rules. If you like, I can ping or scan public interface. Write me an e-mail.
