Execute on server - Windows/Powershell/Teams

Hello ppl, Version: 4.beta3, Os: Windows Server 2016 Its a Notify topic. I am trying to execute a local powershell on the server: "powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -RunType $true -Path C:\Tools\NotifyTeamsChannel.ps1 -text "Service [Probe.Name] on [Device.Name] is now [Service.Status] ([Servic...

Re: [Feature request] Wireguard

+1 After testing ipsec eoip tunnels with Mikrotik, I was deluded of the hw encryption performance. To not mention the marketing hype and the missing replay regarding this issues put fort on the forum. Although the RosOs was the thing with 2.x-3.x with features required and needed in the networking i...

Re: RB1100AHx2 vs RB1100AHx4 IPSEC Performance

Both are documented: https://mikrotik.com/product/RB1100AHx2#fndtn-testresults -> 1gbps https://mikrotik.com/product/rb1100ahx4#fndtn-testresults -> 2gbps You are saying that this are real life results ? Mind you that I already tested some "other" products with Mikrotik with magical configurations ...

RB1100AHx2 vs RB1100AHx4 IPSEC Performance

Hi to All, I wonder if the nice Mikrotik colleagues did try the throughput on this two X2/x4 devices ? As I already tested the scarce limits of the CCR1009-7G family and shown the ridiculously low performance, I am hesitant (read angry) to try again.. I was wondering, if I would need a ipsec gateway...

Re: v6.40.rc4 GRE-IPSec SMB

Thanks to all the feedback. To conclude this Odyssey, if you need encryption, take another better product. If you need basic routing/firewall go for this product family, but if you need encryption with tunnels you are in bad luck. This is not one of the accelerated aes puppies, even multi treading b...

Re: RB - AES HW encrypt desc removed ?

Nothing has been removed from any other brochure. Hi Normis, Are you saying to me that only the 1100AHx4 has AES acceleration from newer products? (you don't need to answer this, but I needed to ask) I was testing the new CCR1009-7G, and the results in the ipsec performance area where very disappoi...

RB - AES HW encrypt desc removed ?

Hi People,

Is it just me , but I soo just now that just on the latest one is specified:

All other product descriptions, like CCR, have the proclaimed AES encryption in hardware removed from product info/brochure ??!?

Re: Feature request - Diffie Hellman groups 19-21

Hi BertV, The processing power and implementation of handling the encryption (single core) is here a real problem. Not to troll but, I hope not to add new crypto features without resolving the core issues with the usage of the existing ones. One can have 12+ cores, but if for a single tunnel and eve...

Re: v6.40.rc4 GRE-IPSec SMB

Update created: eth7 WAN eth6 IP0 + IP1-IP2 eth5 IP3-IP4 ( apparently on the CCR 1009 1-4 port are switch ports, only the 3 last ones are HW encryption accelerated ) https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/IPsec#CCR1009_hardware_optimizations Update: CCR1009-7G should have all ports accelerated !! ...

Re: RE: Re: v6.40.rc4 GRE-IPSec SMB

It is faster with multiple streams With bonding after? How is it implemented ? With IPSEC from same interfaces and diffrent IPs ? In paralel ? Multi subnet ipsec on/from the same interface and then EoIP or GRE? After that bonding the two resulting interfacfes using bonding (balance rr)? I tried it ...

First (source lan from windows copy) - Second (copy destination win box)
(correction for the second CPU , there was divided during the screenshot, for the most part was concentrated on one core)

Re: Feature Request: MTR

So, looks like no mtr, come on don't be lazy. By the rate new versions are coming out u can put it in, doesnt actually have to work, it will be properly debuged in a year or so and usable a year after that. win-win Copy/paste the source code, color output match with ROS console, make the basic fram...

There is already Traceroute. yes yes, there is also already ping... But for you here it is in more detail link . If you r lazy, here is a summary: The real advantage of mtr over ping or traceroute is, it shows where exactly the packet loss is happening in the route to the destination host in realti...

Feature Request: Syslog format ISO8601

Possibility to change syslog format !! ISO8601 DateTime Format Example: 2011-04-09T11:09:13.009922+01:00 <device> <message> Most Centralized LOG management solutions understand ISO 8601. Implementation in ROS would be good, without need to grasp regex syntax to parse specific logs :? . When you need...
