Sounds like local interference do they have a wireless ap that is on the same channel as the tower or on an overlapping channel

We are currently upgrading to 3.30 from 3.20 and a few of them we have had to have customer reboot to get them to come back. has any one else seen this we have upgraded about 150 clients and have had about 10 not come back with out reboot any ideas.

our cpes are a mixture of

I have seen alot of issues running a version 2.9 on cpe and towers on 3. so what we did is uninstall hotspot, routing, mpls from it and they work well we have 200+ 133 cpes in the field

I loaded 3.20 to a small hotspot for testing and had some shock when the next day morning it had very little unused memory left i rebooted and it seemed normal again until the memory started to jump up again board info 532a ROS 3.20 (did not see this with 3.13 That was on it before) running hotspot ...

just got hit buy this today we use the hot spot on some cpes to define a proxy server under 2.9 it worked just fine now It kinda works on the rb411 but if you put it on a rb133 you will have to hyperterm it to disable the hotspot i am emailing a supout to mikrotik in hopes that it can be fixed ASAP ...

i got five of each in our last order
have 2 xr2s on 532 with sr5 backhaul no issues on this box seems to run great

but
put a xr5 in with a sr5 backhaul on a 532 and the box started rebooting is this a power issue????

IT is in beta 4 and it seems to work great but i will work with for a while Could a person load just the dude package to a 2.9.38 system with out breaking it? only way to get all the noiseis with a spectrum analizer but that is Very expensive i would test all the channels first to find which gives you the best profomance if it is the same for all channels it may be hardware and you may test the cables from box to antenna or the pig tale

had a down town hotspot set up then someone put microwave tower on building adjacent to it now i loos link at times I knew there was an interfeince issue when every night at midnight from 12 to 1230 we would loose link it looses it every time the tower transmits i think 1 does microwave have chanels...

mac tell net

first if you have phisical access to the device you can just connect though winbox to the MAC address or if you do not and you have a microtik device attached to it use that to connect via mac telnet

any word on fixes

We had some problems too, sent out supout.rif and received reply to wait for 2.9.21 ... which is out now, so I wonder, if it contains those kernel fixes ... -pekr- the change log that i saw said nothing of the fix I have not seen this prblem yet have 5 systems on 2.9.20 10 on 2.9.18 wondering on up...

DNS issue??

on the dud network i get the following error the dns seems correct can not figure out the problem?? no true issues on the systems all fuctioning it is just coming up as orange on the screen



ip address does not match any of received ones

Problem connecting to 532 ap with a prism card

Having a wierd problem with a hotspot ap with a prism card some hosts can not see it and alot of time isf they connect the are bumped off connection from the box looks good

specs
prism 2.5 200mw
12 dbi omni

any ideas??

then when you need to access anything on that side you just conect to the vpn this way you can keep it secure too

been working with one of the boxes with the hotspot and setting up the walled garden to allow people to go pay the i have got most of the page to load but the pictures and the style sheet are not loading correctly so it does not look llike the paypals website any ideas of how to solve this ??

That was it graphing was some how disabled after i ran an update i think if i am right it was between 2.9.7 and 2.9.11
