Re: Use RB1200 as a switch since I can't do QOS

Hello

Firewall rule - reject with exception for some IPs

Hello

Could you please tell me how should I set the firewall rule so that it would accept the connections to rdp port only for the specified address list and reject any other address that would try to connect to that port ?

thank you in advance for your comments

Sepparate vlans

What I would like to do now, is to set up the vlans so that the ethernet ports were separated into some defined groups, which could use internet connection but could ...

more IPs

Hello I have just one lame question :(, how can I set in some parameter more IP addresses ? Or exactly, how should that look ? xx.xx.xx.xx;yy.yy.yy.yy ? or xx.xx.xx.xx,yy.yy.yy.yy ? I need to restrict access for RDP port so that only some of our users (IPs) could access the server, so I thought that...

Re: disable web interface

thanks, but I have got a web server behind, so this will block all the traffic on port 80, which is not exactly what I want. Or not ?

Re: routerboard behing the adsl modem in bridge mode

Placing your modem into bridging mode will mean it is the responsibility of the Mikrotik to authenticate as well as get an IP. If the protocol of your ADSL provider is PPoA, you are out of luck. If your provider uses PPoE, then it will work by setting up a PPoE client on the Mikrotik and not a DHCP...

routerboard behing the adsl modem in bridge mode

Hello I need to put my routerboard behind the adsl modem in bridge mode. I have set the eth-1 - gateway as dhcp client as we do not have a public ip and then NAT - masquerade for eth-2. Is there anything else I have to do ? Because the modem is set to bridge right, but routerboard does not get any i...

network when more routerboards

Hello I am Mikrotik beginner, but fascinated with the options of Routerboards. I have come across a problem in one network. We have here a couple of public ip adresses which uses NAT with masquerade for a local network and port mapping for voip gateways and servers. Right now we set up a 750G router...
