Re: MacOS Catalina, iOS, Catalyst, SwiftUI & Wine

For those interested, there's Platypus , a free application for macOS that allows you to build native application bundles from scripts. Once you get your Wine Staging playing nicely with winbox64.exe , you can build an app bundle with a custom icon and place it in your Applications folder. https://i...

I think you shouldn't put addresses on physical ethernet ports that are members of a bridge. IP addresses should be added to the bridge itself, not the interfaces.

I disabled all scheduler entries and there's no job running shown in /system script jobs . These commands all han...

e-mail module high cpu usage [6.34.4]

Hi all, First of all, I can't do a supout.rif because it lasts forever. If I insist, I get a "system is busy" error. I have a weird issue with a RB1100. I set up this router to send rsc backups every day with a simple script and tool e-mail. Today I noticed I wasn't receiving emails since ...

I'm also having problems with the UPS (APC SmartUPS RT 3000). Has been working without problems before 5.20.

Re: ipsec tunnel issues

Have you tried the setting DPD (Dead Peer Detection)? If I understood correctly, it is exactly what you need.

Re: IPSEC Strange problem

I've been looking some training videos on this topic (IPSec tunneling) lately. If I understood correctly, some implementations require some different IPSec Policy settings to avoid this issue. In particular I remember that it was necessary to use "unique" in the Level setting in order to p...

Re: v5rc7 released

Hi sergejs, thanks for your reply. dschulz Check /system routerboard settings, that there is no force-backup-router=yes enabled. I checked and it seems to me that force-backup-router setting is not currently enabled. http://i53.tinypic.com/2it4o4i.png [admin@MikroTik] > system routerboard settings [...

Re: v5rc7 released

Hi all, Recently updated to v5rc7 (from 4.16). All went fine. I tried the firmware upgrade procedure described in the wiki . The problem is that, after reboot, the firmware remains in the old 2.27 version. system routerboard print routerboard: yes model: "750G" serial-number: "268E01A...
