Would work... but to bond we would need another device (switch or routerboard) to bond through so costs do go up with additional rb922 and whatever they Bond through. I have a sector were were are trying to push 200+mbps. We are running a metal box for the ap and sxt ac units for the clients using nv2. Testing at night I get 200+mbps but during the day only about 70mbps. Thinking this is interference (I'm sure I'm right... kinda crowded and using 80mhz isn't easy...

Yeah, it's a bit annoying. We've upgraded lots of APs to NetMetal5 for AC, so lost ability to do spectral scans. For installations in some busy places I keep buying good old RB912s just for that feature.. :/ Same here... all our network is ac. ... but we still have metal grooves up on each hub site...

hmmm, Just getting an mail from my national provider; the new ubnt lite beam (5Ghz) is available for less then half the price of an ac SXT! :? It has 7dB more gain. Of course they havent, why solve something users are complaining about. they now make an sxt with a 2.4ghz for programming... Why cant they put another 5ghz n radio in for doing a spectral scan...

Imho it is not possible to do a spectral scan on any device if it doesn't have a second radio. Because a radio circuit can only do one thing at the time. Send (=speak) or Receive (=listening) and therefore it cannot Send/Receive to associate station and at the same time 'listen into the whole spect...

I've upgraded to rc7 and when I turn on nv2 I don't see any signal loss but my ccq goes from ~95% down to about 16% and wont sustain any traffic. Has anyone else encountered this or am I just doing something wrong. I'm using an R52Hn on both the AP and CPE with the AP being 2 chains on a dualpolarit...

New RB711-5Hn but no wireless

I just purchased a RB711-5Hn and when booting it up the first time there is no Wireless interface within routeros. Most times I'd say the minipci card is incompatible but as this is a built in card I'm not sure whats wrong. Anyone else have this problem and is there a solution?
