Re: v7.9beta [testing] is released!

5Ghz radio again not authenticating clients after ~12h uptime. Nothing but a reboot seems to fix it. Am I the only having these issues on the hap ax3?
I'm experiencing this on wifi3 (faster of the two 5Ghz) on a Mikrotik Audience.

Wifewave2 + Bridge Fast Path v7.8

Good afternoon, It appears the Bridge Fast Path and Wifiwave2 are incompatible. Traffic flowing over the ethernet is showing as FP in the statistics, however anything wireless is not. Please could someone confirm this is the case? Also are there intentions to resolve this in the future? Many thanks ...

Re: v7.8rc is released!

Vodafone UK wifi calling has stopped working.
Maybe another DNS issue? Try if setting an external DNS (e.g. your ISP DNS or like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8) in the DHCP Network setting fixes it.
This turned out to be an issue with Vodafone, which they have since resolved.

Vodafone UK wifi calling has stopped working.

We don't have mobile reception, so this is a big thing for us.
EE wifi calling is still working.

Re: Wifiwave2 bridge interface unknown V7.7

Is this expected behaviour? For me, I see the actual interface under bridge->hosts on an RB4011 and Audience in 7.7 with wifiwave2. Thanks everyone for your responses. I cannot for the life of me work out why this has stopped working, as a last resort I did do a net install and restore the config. ...

Wifiwave2 bridge interface unknown V7.7

I have 6 wifi interfaces, 3 master plus one ethernet on a Mikrotik Audience. Everything works, apart from the bridge can’t work out which wifi interface a host is on. If the host is on ether2, the bridge lists it in hosts. If it connects via wifi, it adds it to hosts with interface unknown. Is this ...

Re: v7.7rc is released!

If that’s the case, the Mikrotik really shouldn’t be altering the reply as it passes through. Hopefully Mikrotik can use this to help resolve the problem.

Re: v7.7rc is released!

What happens when you set the DNS on the TV to just your ISP's (you've mentioned already that you've had success with Googles)?
This is obviously with IPv6 enabled again.

We're trying to work out if the culprit is the Mikrotik or your ISPs DNS.

Re: v7.7rc is released!

Pe1chl I feel we’re heading in the right direction. Also I missed a crucial word in my reply, I meant to say the default behaviour is to share your providers IPv6 DNS (as opposed to the Mikrotik). If it isn’t the above, could it possible be the way the Mikrotik DNS is responding to null AAAA queries?

Re: v7.7rc is released!

That is funny, in https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?p=974747#p974747 you wrote that there were several reports about DNS issues and now you write you have not received a report from anyone else. Look, I can work around it by setting another resolver than the MikroTik, but I expect a lot of c...

What's new in 7.4beta5 (2022-Jun-27 10:39):

*) wifiwave2 - added initial support for roaming (802.11r) between local AP interfaces;
This was mentioned in the previous beta, yet you're saying this is new in beta5. Has something changed?

Note that it can take some time for the PMKSA list to be distributed to the clients. When you turn on 802.11r while clients are present, initially you could see things like this. Let the clients re-connect and remain connected for a minute or so before testing. The problem was that it wasn't allowi...

Re: BGP configuration and performance of flow problem.

We have a very similar setup, however our 1st link is 200Mbps and the other 1Gbps (full duplex). Are you connecting to the ISPs by SFP or Ethernet? It could be a mismatch of speeds, one end could be running at half duplex and the other at full. Your ISP may require that you fix your speed as opposed...

We are coming across the exact same issue, does anyone know a work around?

Surely this must be affecting all ISPs in the UK who use BT?
