Re: probe https (certificate and authentification)

Adding OpenSSL as probe type should be relatively easy and community should be able to create all sorts of custom probes for https, smtps, imaps, ftps, ldap ... everything should be encrypted these days so a successful connection on an unencryped channel should be an instant fail these days.

Re: probe https (certificate and authentification)

Hi!

Does new version of The Dude has an option to connect to server using TLS and make probes over secure channel?

It's needed for https monitoring. Anyway it would be a nice feature if it could monitor URLs out of the box.

Edit: The simplest way would be to add OpenSSL to the type of probes

They have announced the CCR-1072-8S+

After few days of tweaking and reading MT forum I found out that I'm not alone with my Mikrotik wireless issues... There are lot of confusions how to effectively set up 802.11n...

Re: RB751U-2HnD Wireless Issues

This theory may be correct since my device came with ROS 5.6 which was available at the time of RB751U announcement and generates autosupport.rif files from time to time.... It's quite new device (few days) so I can't confirm blinking LEDs since I didn't paid attention to that. I have a theory about...

I have exactly the same issue. Since this is a SOHO device I would like to see competitive results with other even cheaper SOHO wireless routers. I would try it first with "factory default" settings: eth1 WAN, eth2-5 LAN (eth2 master, eth3-5 slave), DHCP, NAT; nothing else. This would make you more confident if router is overloaded by any of your additional settings or you are simply reaching it's limits easily. Note 1.: I can do mo...

The only reason why we though release date will be in December 2011 is the name of the router "RB 2011". There is a big silence around this equipment. I wouldn't be surprised if we would need to wait until next December :( Another think I suspect is that this "low cost" router wo...

RB2011 Availability / Hardware Specification

Hi,

Do you know the hardware specs of RB2011 (CPU / RAM / Sotrage / Swich chip ...)?
From performance prospective would it be faster than 450G/493AH/493G (Atheros AR7161 / 680MHz)?

When do you plan to make it available for purchasing?

Hi guys, TCP window scaling for outbound traffic is still not working well. It still not increases as it does without MT router. Due to this throughput on high latency networks are very bad. Thanks, I agree. Downgrading to 4.17 helps much, but not as much as it should...
