Re: Force DNS Server without Loosing Source IP?

That's an old post, but did you find anything about this ? Everyone is pointing to the Mikrotik server as DNS server. I've setuped two rules (tcp and udp) to forward DNS request to PiHole and I have a script to ping that PiHole, if it's down, it will disable the rules, so the Mikrotik will reply to ...

Dedicated Linux renew and push certificates to RouterOS / Mikrotik
this is the only sad part. My CCR should be able to do it by itself! :(

Re: Isolated Network

Hum, just to make sure. I have the Router1 (10.0.0.254), there's a switch between Router1 (10.0.0.254) and the RB750Gr3 (10.0.0.3), there's a switch on the 192 network to provide connectivity to this network appliance. It's not the same routeur and they can't be connected direclty. On the RB750Gr3, ...

Isolated Network

Hello, Got a quick question; We have our "main network" that is 10.0.0.1/24 and we have an other network that is 192.168.33.1/24 for some machines. I had an old Linksys with 10.0.0.3 and our main router was routing any request for 192.168.33.0/24 to 10.0.0.3. It's working fine, but the Linksys is an...

Re: Support for ACME/Let's Encrypt certificate management [SOLVED]

No, they are "certificats", can be use on anything (firewall, mail, ftp, etc...). The only "problem" is that they are 90 days lifetime... so without ACME, you'll have to update the cert manually each 3 month. Certs are actually working right now if you do install it manually.

Re: Wish - RB2011UiAS-2HnD-RM ?

I would love that too. I have some clients that have wall-mount open rack and it could be usefull. (not that one, but just to give an idea) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31LuJJZ3wvL.jpg Having a "all-in-one" option is really usefull for most clients. Right now, I'm using RB951G-2HnD with a s...

How to better logging ? Feature Request?

Hello, I wish I could debug stuff on the Mikrotik, but I dont know how and wonder if someone have a better idea. Right now, when I want to debug a rules, I'm adding a log rules with same configuration just over the rules I want to log and then, I do some "test" and "/log print" everytime. Not very e...

remove the files and try to wait for the schedule to see. I think it does not run as the same users.

Also, you are at v6.7 software, did you upgrade the routerboard firmware too ?

Yes you need. Same as the wiki page ( http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Dynamic_D ... _No-IP_DNS ). It's just an updated version that write/read a file instant of using global variable that dosent seems to work in 6.7+.

DDNS Script for No-IP Updated!

I tried to add the update there, but seems we can't register anymore. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Dynamic_DNS_Update_Script_for_No-IP_DNS I fond that the "global" variable wasnt working on the sceduler, so I modified the script to write/read a file instant. # No-IP automatic Dynamic DNS update # #...

Restric UPnP ?

Hello, I've enabled UPnP so gaming, Plex and other stuff could update the ports automatically. Work very well, but my IP Camera is always adding 80 and 443 to itself. I dont want that. Is there a way to restric to certains host only or block this host by using UPnP ? Note that UPnP is already "OFF" ...

Basic AP, RB411AR or RB711 or SXT ?

Hello, I'm trying to find the best way to have an AP. It will be placed outside, so I'll take an outside case. No need of specific functions, just need to hook into an actual wireless (or maybe even having the cable if I find a way) and providing WAP. Just wondering, what would be the best. Since it...
