Which models support this feature? I need a direct replacement for the 411ahur with mini pcie 3g. I take there is no work around for this yet no the 411?

I did that once, but ended up programming a boot loop as it took the router about 30s from boot to get a successful 3G connection. @20s the router thought, hmm no valid IP (through ping), and reboot.

I haven't looked at it since... is there a way around this boot loop?

This is what's happening to me, but I am 4 hours drive to unplug it! Has anyone found a solution?

At present my router is offline (even I set it to reboot itself at 3am every morning), and no-one will be available to hard power cycle it until the end of the month...

Hi mate, I too am using the MC8705, but on Telecom XT here in NZ. But I do not have to put in any init commands to get it working, just using channel 3. BUT: I am having one big problem. Update:

I have had some time to set it up correctly and all that is needed is:

Channels (info and data) set to 3

Updated support hardware doc on mikrotik site.

To upgrade you can use the PCI-E port in a laptop and run the correct upgrade exe. Has anyone successfully used a MC8705 yet?
