Forwarding and routing is good and fast as long as you keep all traffic in fastpath. It is a router not a firewall. True, but it is still good practice to do anti-spoofing filtering on a border router I also feel happier blocking traffic to the control plane with filters on the 'input' chain - you ...

Re: TCP performance

I think is not a MikroTik problem. With these bandwidths, latency plays against. I think one main problem of NV2 is the jitter of the latency. TCP frames arrive asynchronly to the NV2 TDMA time slot, sometimes they get through within 1ms mostly within 3ms, but sometimes with 15ms (one out of 100). ...

Hmm weird...I heard it could be done asking a license to mikrotik
Superchannel license was used a few time ago.

It allows to use non-standard channels, but in the same band.

Now, all routerboards include it. You can use from 4,9 to 6GHz (depending of your wireless chipset)

I've reached 70 clients (all them SXT) on a Omnitik.

On heavy load hours, ping is about 15ms, and total traffic about 20mbps.

Signals are between -50 and -69 (using satellite dish when customer is over 2km)

However, this is not a good practice.. I'd recomend you not to exceed 60 clients

Same here. In a PtP link with 2 SXT (50m, power set at 0dbm, LOS):
- Nv2: 10ms minimum (oscilating up to 50ms)

In Omnitik + SXT: the same

802.11: lower perfomance. 1-2ms ping
