it not workIf I was you I would give shaping just below 1Gbps a shot and see if you still get the packet loss.

Unfortunately the 5 Ghz backup of the AF is something less of a nanobeam put in the head of the disk and not in the focus (12db gain) .... so it 'll be usable only in short range[When the Airfiber is available and it will work like it is announced, we don't need Mikrotik.......
Normis we have no time to lose hoping in a miracle. We have to stay on the market and we need to take important decision for the future of our company (fiber telco grows quickly) so if you have any announcement to do please don't wait more.Never lose hope for anything.

100mhz or 200mhz steps will be better, at least 500mhz steps. not all need 1gb in ptp and in PTMP ( 8 online ) for sure

why you think lower channels are better?
We have problems with link droping on rain...tested even on beta28, used even align command, but no luck...not stabile at all...signals great (-52/-55 on 1150m link distance).
My company has 6000 mikrotik cpe installed, +1000 new orders every year and when NV2 finally works quite well with AC we have no more hardware compatible with it. It's a nightmare to swith to another vendor...Five years working with @Mikrotik ... Today is the last day. It´s a pitty...
+100Any chance we will see support for narrower channels? Not everyone needs a full gigabit of throughput, often can't be fully used due to the max 8 stations per AP limit.
it's not a standard channel, special permissions usually are required to operate at this frequency.66000 GHz is non standard freq for this band? Will You implement 66960 GHz and 69120 GHz?
