Re: CCR2004 - random crashes watchdog no IP address

We were also seeing reboot loops on our 2216 until we disabled all FW and NAT rules. Once that was done, it has been stable for nearly a month.
It was rebooting every 1:40 (200 seconds).

I believe it is a memory leak issue but am not sure.
I sent in SUP files as well.

Re: No link when connecting CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ QSPF28 interfaces

Good afternoon.

I recently got our 2216 setup and am struggling to get our 100G interfaces to come up as well.
Did you ever get this working?

Thanks,
Jim

Re: Feature Request: RFC3021 /31 point-to-point support in v7

Does anyone know if /31 can be made to work?

I have a friend trying to setup a 2216 with BGP across a /31 peering and is not making progress.

Re: v6.49.1 [stable] is released!

I like that devices prompt for a password change on a expired or blank password but it presents a new challenge to remote device management. We have a link in our billing CRM that allows the office staff to access the customer routers via L2TP tunnel and a private IP address. We have the admin accou...

Re: iSCSI

I think this would be a brilliant idea now that SMB sharing is in the OS.

Re: Mikrotik Won't Pass Management IP Traffic

Is the management IP space on the root ethX.0 or on some vlan?

I had to solve a similar issue by assigning the clients to on VLAN and the management to another VLAN. The base ethernet adapter in my RB does not have an IP address assigned to it.

Re: Port Forward to VPN client

I guess I should have explained what happens when I attempt.

Using Putty, i try to connect to my public IP on port 8000. After about 10 seconds, it closes. This seems like a lack of data is being forwarded (to me).

Port Forward to VPN client

I have setup a RB750 (VPN Server) as a PPTP server on a static IP on ETH1. I created a PPTP Server and setup the profile. I have a RB450 with a dynamic IP on ETH1. I have the serial port redirected to TCP 8000 on the RB450. I setup a PPTP connection to the VPN server which connects just fine. I can ...
