..These IP addresses will definitely not be 'going to waste'. This is a network for a new WISP network, not a private network.
.This has some detail...
I bought a RB1100, but i can't connect it with winbox. I can't find why
I had reset the settings of RB1100.
.When I realized all LEDs are configurable I almost cried.
Never change MikroTik. Never change xD
Am I missing smth?
With mAP 2nd + BU-353S4 USB GPS module I'm able to get location fixed literary in seconds.
The GrooveA 52 ac comes with it but not the Groove 52 ac.
Don't dismiss a PSU fault unless you've swapped it out. When the caps in the PSU go bad there can be high ripple on the power line causing unstable operation.
The voltage readout says 23.7v, so It can't be the psu.
You could do this with just one router, a RB1100AHx4. Does the ISP provide a copper ethernet connection to their NTU?Can this be done with just 1 router and one managed switch (with VLANS at switch level)? And then further switch and an AP at each house obviously.
/ip firewall nat add action=dst-nat chain=dstnat comment="NTP address translation" dst-address=184.108.40.206 protocol=tcp to-addresses=220.127.116.11
It will be nice and useful , if you add two filed for height of towers and draw fresnel zone . some thing like this :
TryIf I use an external utility to probe the OID, I get the correct value (-43 in this case). However, if I walk the OID via the dude I get no value returned - it graphs as "0".
Surely the RB1100AHx4 is more than qualified to be a very good user manager candidate say compared to a RB450? User manager on the RB1100AHx4 with the SSD would be a good match. Are you looking to support this RB1100AHx4 device as a user manager
And when you can at least
The CCR1009-7G-1C-PC fits the bill of middle ground and no fan.like Dude Edition but with one SFP+ cage? I know you got this model CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ but it's to big jump with power and price (and fan's mounted what's make this unit loud), please release something between those two units
I'd recommend you use Netinstall to do a complete clear of the unit before such drastic action. We'll, I guess I'll have to junk the unit.
I like your very sharp clear photo.Hello.
What are the parameters of this capacitor on the photo?
status: applying settings: enabling: open db: not an error
Check you don't have 2x 192.168.88.1 addresses on devices on your network. This is the default address for all Mikrotik devices.the internet starts working after I disable and re-able the Either port on the AP or reboot the AP? I am using a SXT for the AP.
Simple and effective resolution.Right click the file, select "open image in new tab". Hit refresh a few times. The image should become smaller (as it will load the actual image, not the one from cache).
You need to Queue the other traffic to reserve the bandwidth for IPTV.It is IP television system, that is connected to Ether 3. Internal network is behind NAT. So i need to ensure some Mbs rate for TV.
Do you have trees or structures in the path? The signal strength should be about -58dB.600m of distance but the signal is week about -89 o -90 .
some ideas please
Yes I agree. Virtual Box or VMware workstation. ESXi is also a possibility that works well. I used VMware vCenter Converter to migrate a Workstation CHR to ESXi very easily.Try the chr instead the x86.
Yes you need to change to 3/0, 3/1, 3/2, note PCC 3 ways.I have tested this and I see bytes and packets going through the first two mangle lines, not through the added third line. Am I doing something wrong?
You can install Virtualbox on your windows 7 machine and run ROS CHR with Dude. Dude in CHR is very good.Where would I download the last version of The Dude that would run 'standalone' on windows CPU?
The scan shows the channels you are not able to connect on are in use.I tried frequency usage and this is it:
I can't connect to 2432, 2437, 2442, 2447 MHz.
2427 and 2452 MHz are fine.
That's utility pole size. Given the quantity of utility poles these would be more competitively priced and have a greater rang of suppliers.I'm looking for a self-supporting tower in the range of 40-60 foot.
I've seen it happen a few times with MTU mismatch. Ping works for small packets but browsing is very slow and Skype and some other apps completely fail to connect.Could it be a problem with MTU size? How can I change that?
If you've forgotten the RouterOS password it can only be reset by reinstalling the router -I am unable to Winbox into the RB2011. How can I do this?
That's great. Thanks for sharing.I designed it using DesignSpark Mechanical. Attached you find the DesignSpark file as well as the stl file.
What about a Mikrotik CHR install with the Dude? CHR hosting for $10 + a Mikrotik license or the free install. Is anyone using one of the cloud based network monitoring services
I've found this guide quite helpful. It has a section toward the end for iPhones.Hey I am newbie to here but how may i configure vpn on iPhone ?
This is a very good tutorial although it's based on an older version of ROS.Can you point out any tutorial!
.I hope than anybody can help me with this problem
19:11:27 l2tp,debug VPN l2to: tunnel 104 received bad auth. response, stopping
Just a thought, Are you using a CHR with bandwidth limited interface? Looking at the transfer on the client it's getting slowed in it's communication because of the trial setting of CHR.So far I can't reproduce this behavior tried with multiple client versions.
Yes. One of the first crashes I experienced Dude forgot the most recent changes where as a close included the most recent changes. How does it crash then, if there is no error message? Just disappears?
I'm running the client on Win7. It crashes every time when minimized. You are using The Dude client on which OS? I haven't noticed it doing so on win7, win10 or linux under wine with win8 set as OS.
For the ethernet port stats they are often described in a table like at the end of this page -The latest oids are stats from ether 1 to 2
If I know what you meant.
Yes you can downgrade. I've found 6.29 works well on my RB2011 -Is the a way to around this issue? Or can I downgrade firmware?
I'd advise connecting with Windox and using a MAC not IP connection while making the changes. That's easier said than done when I don't really have much of a clue as to what I'm doing to begin with.
You need to put it on Kickstarter. I'm sure this would be a good indicator of desire. We have a plan to make a completely new dude, that would work with CAPsMAN and have better web interface. Project is still in planning stage.
Stopped at the same point for me too.The Torrent : http://www.mikrotik.com/download/router ... .1.torrent
is it just me or torrent stopped at 93.4%?
For the current 6.30 it's -where to download older relese ? mipsbe
Copy the old URL and adjust it like -
Where can I download 6.28?
You could use Syslog and alarm monitoring for logon events.which is the OID for > System > user > User List - Active Users ?
I want to monitor, if someone is logging into the device.
Try -please help me, someone can tell me where I find the download version 6.27 parael npk ccr1036-12G -4S
I experienced this on a RB450 upgrade to 6.27 . Another reboot resolved it.after update to 6.29 having a problem with "health" monitor on RB2011UiAS-2HnD
voltages and temp are not showing any more
/system health print - return empty result
It looks good.Any one who uses The Dude and uses an Android phone should check this out:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... wy.thedude
I brought this up a while ago and it was debated with Normis -Image http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/File:Rj45.gif seems wrong to me, or at least different from my cable.
This video walks through the menus of both the Mikrotik home VPV setup but also windows setup to establish the connection. My question is how do we use this feature? How to use this feature?
When you start Winbox before you select the router click on the "..." 3 dots to the right of the "Connect to" selection box. This will bring up a list of discovered devices listingHow do I find the routerOS version number from winbox?
This http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/File:Rj45.gif image of the RJ45 and DB9 connector doesn't agree with the table below it.Here is the pinout:

It looks like the RB850 has an appearance in the test rack.Have you done any (preliminary) performance tests on this baby?
Have you tried the RB411 without the new wireless card?I'm just amazed that it went out after working on a roof for over a year just from carefully replacing the wireless card and booting it up in my office.
