We purchased a couple of CRS112-8P to test for sites that have both 24v and 48v kit. Many of these sites are solar powered so I needed to test power consumption. Re: RB1100AHx2 - questions about the block diagram

It looks to me that ports 12 and 13 would likely each have a dedicated PCIe x1 link. Assuming that the processor only supports PCIe v1.0 or v1.1, then the links would only support about 250Mbps (125Mbps each direction). Hey Dave, shouldn't that be 250MBps i.e. 2Gbps? If it is 250Mbps then that cert...

We don't run IPSEC. These routers run static internal routes for MPLS-TE tunnels, iBGP for internal distribution of client public addresses and eBGP for external peering. We also run EoIP to some end clients.

if you use LDP for VPLS signalling, LDP must be enabled only on endpoints not on all routers in path. remote address of VPLS must match that of TE tunnel for VPLS to use this tunnel. DDoS prevention is needed at eBGP peering points to stop the flood hitting your infrastructure. Assuming you have multiple BGP peers in physically different locations it is very likely you'll get asymmetric routing. Nothing suspicious about that.

In what way does it work better? It is easy to upgrade a single AP and role back if there are issues (still RC release after all) but if you upgrade an AP and all the clients then find an issue it's a lot of work to role everything back.

Why are you using 198.19.3.1/32 as the VRRP address? With a /32 netmask you wont get any other devices on that vlan to reach it. Try using a /24 class C with .251 on one vlan interface, .252 on the other and .254 as the VRRP address.
