Could you try to disable "use-ip-firewall" in bridge-settings of the mpls routers? I saw a strange behaviour in the past after upgrading to version 6. Is not enabled in our environment. By the way bridge in our environment are used only as container of vpls-interface coming from tower to ...

Re: MPLS/VPLS or EoIP?

I currently have an OSPF routed network, I create tunnels using EoIP from each AP to a core router and running a pppoe server on each EoIP tunnel on the core router, this has worked fine for a long time. But EoIP not very efficient on bandwidth. It has about 250 terminated PPPoE sessions across 7 P...

With EoIP you have poor bandwidth capacity!

In my opinion best solution is a VPLS over MPLS to connect directly (psedowire) rural site to core WAN.

Re: stable version of CCR-1016 or CCR10-1036 for use as BGP?

Hi,

we have in a production environment two CCR1016-12G with Router OS v6.12 and 4 BGP session with upstream for each router.
In total 500.000 routes (Full Routing Table) in avarage recived from our upstreams.

No reboot or other issue verified in last month.

Answer to your question is, yes! You need 1526 MPLS MTU to transport 1500 byte packet without fragmentation.

Wich version of router os are running your mpls routers? I have got mtu problem with some RouterOS version.
