Re: Severe port flapping on CRS328-24P-4S+ and CRS317-1G-16S+

Please, contact MikroTik support if you experience similar issue, we will verify it and arrange a repair if necessary.

SwOS v2.9 has few changes which require updated fan controller firmware that comes only within RouterOS.
Please upgrade the CRS3xx to RouterOS v6.44beta61, the fan firmware will upgrade along with it.
Then you will be able to use SwOS v2.9 and can downgrade RouterOS if necessary as well.

Upgrading from 2.8 to 2.9 on a CSS106-5G-1S causes severe traffic drop between 1G ports and 100Mbit ports. It's random from 0 to 40Mbps.
Reverting back to 2.8 traffic increased back to steady 100Mbps.

Since v2.5 switch address acquisition mode by default is DHCP with fallback to static address. It is the reason why you, probably, see 0.0.0.0 address for about 10 seconds right after booting.

SwOS can be reached from the internet just fine. The reason you don't need to specify netmask and gateway is that switch is just responder, it sends packets back to the same gateway that sent requests to it in the first place.

"drop-if-no-vlan-assignment-on-ports" is not necessary for "ether24-slave-local" port.

Re: crs125-24g-1s-2hnd mirroring

Set mirroring source ports from ether2 to ether23 to see source addresses from the local network.
/interface ethernet switch port
set ether2 egress-mirror-to=mirror0 ingress-mirror-to=mirror0;
set ether3 egress-mirror-to=mirror0 ingress-mirror-to=mirror0;

Here is an example: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:CR ... h_Limiting

Re: 6.23 released!

It seems like /system leds set numbers=[find leds=user-led] type=on should work, right? I think there is a small bug here - that command is working only if user-led is defined. So I must use /system leds add leds=user-led type=off first. This is missing in WinBox. It will be fixed in Winbox, but fr...

Re: Can someone explain Mikrotik CloudRouterSwitches to me ?

When ports are in switch group, only IP addresses configured on master-port interface are accessible from those ports.
And Torch can monitor traffic only processed by CPU, not by a switch-chip. There is no tool in a switch-chip except traffic mirroring.

Re: How can I build ACL on CRS125-24G-1S ?

whether I understand you, that on my switch, I can not make the restrictions, access to specific protocols or TCP / UDP ports? ( such as "VLAN20 can not connect to the VLAN10 at TCP / 23, but can at TCP / 80 " ) Typically, it is not possible at OSI Layer2 level because there VLANs are int...

Re: How can I build ACL on CRS125-24G-1S ?

I need some restrictions between VLANs
As the message says ACL policy rules are not supported in CRS125, they are supported only in CRS2xx series.
In CRS125 restrictions can be set in CRS VLAN membership table. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:CR ... _filtering

Re: 6.22 released!

What about the new feature disk From Winbox I do not see any drives. Looking on the Files menu I see a folder called Disk1. How can I create folders on a drive for e.g. WebProxy or logging? Here are RouterOS commands for it. #WebProxy: /ip proxy set cache-path=disk1/web-proxy1 #Logging: /system log...

Re: CRS125 Multicast FDB question

When adding MFDB entries, you should specify destination ports with "ports=" parameter. That is missing in your posted configuration.
