Re: What goes in ChangeLog?

No replies from MikroTik until now… This really proves how strange their development process is!

Re: v6.19 released

I was about to deploy an RB450 as a router to an OOB management network where rock solid stability is a must. I will throw this RB450 in the trash and use another thing. - Beta testing in a production environment is not for me. - Reading a thread on a forum to determine if a stable version is really...

What goes in ChangeLog?

Hi! I am about to deploy an RB450G as a firewall for an OOB management network but I am somewhat puzzled with the contents of the v6 ChangeLog because since v6 was release I only see a security update and it relates to SSH. I've searched for security advisories on the Mikrotik's web site and did not...

Re: Missing network route

I believe you didn't understand what I wrote. I have 2 RB450Gs. One of them is working while the other one doesn't create the route to the 194.65.a.b network. It just creates 0.0.0.0/0 ----- routed to -----> 194.65.3.54 (for example) and it doesn't create the route to get to the 194.65 network as my...

Missing network route

Hi all! I have 2 RB450G boards: one at my company and one at home (both RouterOS 4.14). Recently, I switched ISPs at home and my RB450G is not getting the proper DHCP configuration. I am getting an IP address from the range 188.x.y.z while my default gateway is 194.65.a.b. RouterOS is not creating t...

Re: IPSec/L2TP encryption

Duh!

It seems this is the answer: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP ... NAT_Bypass

:-)

My bad!

Re: IPSec/L2TP encryption

Thanks!

Actually I found it this morning.

BTW, is it possible to do IPSEC between two NAT-ed devices?

ROS 5.5 (172.16.0.1/24) -> (172.16.0.254/24) 3G NAT Router (Public IP) -> ... -> (Public IP) Other Router (192.168.1.254/24) -> Windows XP (192.168.1.1/24)

Thanks!

IPSec/L2TP encryption

Hello all!

Just a quick question...

Is there a way to force (on ROS side) the use of a certain (like 3DES) on a IPSec/L2TP connection?

Cheers,
Miguel
