Re: LHG LTE6 kit LTE dropout

Re: LHG LTE6 kit LTE dropout

Hi All,

Now that the unit is stable, running with O2 as the carrier.
I'll perform the LTE modem firmware update and then test again back on EE when it's done.

I'll update the post in a few mins, probs after lunch ;-)

Pete.

Re: LHG LTE6 kit LTE dropout

Hi all, OK I've upgraded everything to 6.47.8 and the firmware is already on V025 There's an upgrade to V026 but the interface is still unstable and I'm worried that an interface drop during the upgrade process will break it for good. I've changed carrier from EE to O2 and it's stable. See log files...

Re: LHG LTE6 kit LTE dropout

Hi all, Interesting, I'm seeing the same issue here in Norfolk on the LHG LTE6 Kit, but not on the SXT LTE6 Kit. I've tried firmware versions 6.46.4, 6.46.8 Long Term and 6.47.8, all with the same result. I've tried a second unit LHG LTE6 Kit from our stock and got the same error, so its not hardwar...

Re: New User Manager in RouterOS v7

Out of interest, can the new User Manager be used to authenticate other routers in a network or is it just for local access?
i.e just as a radius server for other NAS devices to authenticate against.
Thanks

Re: EE SIM [SOLVED]

Hi there, So the SimRush unit is working fine, glad to hear it. We usually default to EE's network but we also do support other networks. SIM Slot is in the System > Routerboard section SimRush equipment is also designed to automatically failover between SIM Slots so you don't have to worry. If you ...

Re: Silly Question About DHCP Server Mikrotik

Hi there,
Just a thought...
If you are using MikroTik routers as the Access points, then you could configure them all using CAPsMAN and see quite clearly on which AP and radio the wireless client is registered.

Try the changing usb settings...
Are you trying to get a second card working or just the r11e that ships with the kit?

Re: Google Cloud Platform GCP - VPN - BGP [SOLVED]

Hi gargola, We used some of your setting for 'dpd' and timeouts and it appears to have solved the problem. How did you arrive at those settings? Maybe when we see the full config for both sides all will become clear... Thank you for your effort and we all look forward to seeing the script when you h...

Re: Google Cloud Platform GCP - VPN - BGP [SOLVED]

Hi gargola,

We're having similar issues with MikroTik and GCP VPN with BGP. Although our configuration appears to be correct, we're suffering from packet loss through the tunnel, it's not stable.
If you coudl publish your configuration from both ends we'd like to compare.

Thank you

Re: Connection tracking - timeout values

I've taken the udp stream tracking down to 30seconds and it appears to be working, i.e. the connections are leaving the tracker. I'll monitor over the next week to see if the PBX has any more problems. Does anyone know what the likely effect of having the streaming tracker set to 00:00:30 instead of...

Re: Connection tracking - timeout values

The connection I'm seeing is udp:5060
If I kill it the SIP trunks come back online.
They're currenlty running, and the connection appears to restart after about a minute or so, so the connection timer gets to around 02:00 and then starts again.

Re: Connection tracking - timeout values

Hi all, I've got an issue with connections, particularly SIP 5060, that are not timing out. sip service ports are turned off. My PBX drops it's SIP trunk, but the connection appears to be still active in the connections table. As soon as I remove the seamingly 'stale' connection, the SIP trunk re-es...

Re: v6.41rc [release candidate] is released! New bridge implementation!

Hi all, The LED issue on the SXT LTE is still not fixed in 6.41.rc11 but it is getting a little closer... The LED's on the back of the SXT LTE now respond to signal strength but the scale is off. Without moving our bench SXT LTE device, it shows 3-4 LEDs of signal whilst running 6.39.2. Post upgrade...

Re: v6.40 [current]

Hi All, I have found an issue with the LED signal indicator on the "SXT LTE" post upgrade to 6.40, it is still broken unchanged in 6.41rc4 also. The signal meter "led" no longer shows signal-strength, only the bottom led light becomes active to show a connection, no meter lights ...

Do you know if MikroTik are likely to implement 6RD natively into ROS?
Thanks

Re: Mikrotik VDSL / DSL Modem?

Hi all, As Nick suggested a discrete VDSL type module would be great now that BT have stopped supplying VDSL modems in the UK for their FTTC services. Lots of ISPs in the UK have been using MikroTik for MPLS network installations, I'm sure this business will stop rapidly if they can no longer supply...

Re: Can't find Dude npk files

Hi all,

I'm looking for the dude-3.6.npk for PowerPC (RB1100) to re-install.
Can someone send me the download link for that please, or better still offer the .npk for the older firmware versions?

Thanks

Re: 6rd support?

If we're going to utilise our IPv6 allocations we're all going to need this for the future.
Adding 6RD is a very worth while feature for us.
