Feel free to suggest other protocols and features that should be supported.
would be awesome if you could include S3-compatible client (linux s3cmd maybe?) for auto backup with versioning and recovery

Hotspot

Hi all

did anybody manage to run hotspot on ROSv7? I'm struggling to make it work with same config as on ROSv6 but despite the firewall filter and nat rules being correctly created I'm not pushed to login page. Can anyone check on that?

RB2011 / 3011 + LTE modem/SIM slot

Hey MikroTik,

did you consider adding LTE modem and SIM slot to one of your business/home router lines? It would be great as all in one solution and would solve many compatibility issues with modems.

Re: Add ARP for leases, what does it do?

if set how you write, should /ip/settings/arp-timeout be equal to ip/dhcp-server/leases/lease-time or is dhcp-server setting proper arp timeout into router? ARP timeout is the same as the lease expiration timeout in this case. Thank you for clarifying this. One last question, maybe you know this to...

Re: Add ARP for leases, what does it do?

If you enabled this option, and set the interface ARP setting to "reply-only", it will mean that only DHCP clients will be able to access your network, statically configured IP addresses will not be allowed, except if the admin adds their MAC address to the ARP menu if set how you write, ...

One thing that made me unsuspicious was fact that every other CCR I have in network works with no issues (at least hardware part). What irritates me most is that I can see that people had exact same issues as far as in August, yet Mikrotik didn't withdraw this model (or send any announcment about br...

OSPF and OSPFv3 handle IPv4 and IPv6 so whats the comparison here?
with IS-IS you have one protocol daemon instead of two, the less complicity the better
