CHR 7 HyperV Beta 4, no NICs

I don't see any network interface in CHR 7 beta 4. We are using Windows 2019 with latest updates. VM is Gen1 and we are using synthetic NIC.

Re: Cloud Hosted Router

Hello,

is it possible, to get some time limited version (until stable version is released), without bandwidth limitation? I'd like to start testing in production environment, but 1 mbps is too low :(. It would by useflull, to remove limitation, until stable version is released.

tool fetch timeout

Hello,

is it possible to add timeout option to fetch tool. I would like to turn router os into simple loadbalancer (still working with dst nat and source address hash), but I need write some backend check scripts. unfortunatelly, 60 s timeout is too long.

thank you

Re: IPv6 + PPPoE + RADIUS

... 4 hours later, I found solution. Configure your framed-ipv6-prefix attribute hexa and code your configuration this way: 30402A010430000206660000000000000000 hexa - description 30 - in ascii 0 should be zero because of rfc 40 - in decimal 64 your prefix size and rest: 2A01043000021666000000000000...

Re: IPv6 + PPPoE + RADIUS

I have same problem with Microsoft NPS (radius on win server 2008). I think, the problem is, that radius server sends atribute in hexa, but Mikrotik wants string (see here: http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=48171)

Re: PPPoE & IPv6

RouterOS expects string that contains ipv6 prefix in form <network>/<mask>
could you provide some example please?
