How to upgrade factory firmware (RouterBOOT)?

I have some old RouterBOARDs with older version of RouterBOOT. I need enable Protected RouterBOOT on that, but it is impossible because the factory firmware is older than 3.24.
How to upgrade that?

Implement NAT64 described in RFC6146 https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6146 + DNS64

Also, 6RD.
6RD very useful for rapidly deployment of IPv6 in ISPs; some of xDSL modems support 6RD now.

Currently the map appears to start in Riga (not sure why ?? hehe ) but it would be nice to have it default to the users default location ? because what ROS IPv6 DHCP does, is only prefix delegation, IMHO it is less confusing if ROS will change the name to DHCP PD Server.

There is no general way. but you can configuring first router and transfer to another with export, or use TR069 for config two router simultaneously.

Scan-list in stations, limit to APs frequency.
And use mode=station-roaming for zero handoff

If remote side of ppp connection support bcp, your ppp connection automatically add in bridge port.

For that, you can use metarouter and load OpenWRT on it and install Asterisk on OpenWRT in metarouter; Asterisk hereby take your RouterBOARD will be activated.

Queue work only on layer 3 traffics, So don't work on bridge ports.
Queue don't limit traffics forward through bridge ports.

I think router with 8 chain (4x dual chain 90 degree sector antenna) is great suggestion for MU-MIMO outdoor device.
