I'm a little unclear about what you are asking but it sounds to me like a dynamic routing policy such as OSPF would achieve what you are looking to do.

We use OpenVPN http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/OpenVPN which works very well on the Mikrotik. We are seeing an issue with RX Drops between (2) x86 systems. We have 2 of these routers connected via a direct cat5 cable (less than 1 meter) negotiated at 1GB FDX port speeds. I wanted to see if anyone had found an answer to this issue. I am running Axiomtek as well with ver 5.7 and see the same thing when SNMP is enabled.
